The PS2 still has no killer ap, or game that you just gotta have. The reason for this is that sony doesn't really have a mascot franchise.
Only Goemon for PS2 is a must have for me, but I'm not going to spend hundreads of dollars on an import PS2 just to get that.
It may be a suprise, but I have reason to doubt that. Maybe it's just that I don't spend much time in Nintendo Fan forums, but I always make room to be right so no Sony/M$FT fanboy, can get a clear shot at me.
I have a PS2*GASPS*, I play it*SCREAMS*, it's fun*SILENCE*. But I KNOW GCN will be better*SIGHS*.
PS2 killer apps:
That about sums it up. But each game is a masterpiece.
And Sony's little mascot's making his way over to GCN, and X-Box. Crash Bandicoot. But I hate platformers, they just never appealed to me.
Micro$oft should use the BSOD for their mascot. Most people have meet him, and many fear him.
Shure I know that Sony will have a few good games, but where are they now? None of them will be released until Game Cube launch. MGS2, FFX, will proabably be exclusive games but then all the 3rd party developer start to develop for PS2, GC, and Xbox most games will be ported over onto the other platforms. Why would you buy a PS2 if you new somthing better will be around en a few months? PS2 may not have 1 exclusive title left in a few months the only 2 that strongly suport PS2 are Square and Konami. Square wants to make a jump to Nintendo but Thats not happening until Yamachi retires or feel that for some odd reason that Nintendo needs Square witch it won't. Konami is just pissing me off at the moment, they say GC is kidie. I gues they haven't looked at the Exclusive adult line up Nintendo will have. But even Konami wants to develop multi platform. PS2 doesn't seem to have much except DVD playback. I gues they shot themself in the foot for puting that piece of garbage on PS2.
