    I know that some of the things the first person wrote are wrong. There is no reel information about Square Soft and Xbox together. Actually Square seems to be trying to move toward Nintendo along with a number of other 3rd party companies. There also will be alot more adult video games while there will still be a few kiddie games. Nintendo has shown this with games like Conker's Bad Fur Day and Eternal Darkness Whitch are coming out on N64.The power of Xbox is undoubtably true, but Nintendo's Game Cubes copper 405MHz processor is comparible to a normal 700MHz processor. Whitch is comparible to Xbox's 733MHz proceesor. Xbox will use a cable/DSL modem, while Nintendo uses a 56k with optional cable/DSL for those who have that service. There is a huge size differents in these 2 platforms this is because to play DVD's the Xbox uses 2 lasers and just the sheer size of the disc. This also causes production cost to go up. nintend has chosen to build a gaming machine not a home intertainment machine such as Play Station 2. Whitch is an overpriced low Quality DVD player that overheats and is hard to program games for. The mini-disc prevents piracy and makes the size of Game Cubes size. I think that the compatition will be between Nintendo and Microsoft.

    sn0man i thank you for that....at last someone that can take things froma neutral point of view and is not byest towards nintendo or microsoft...and could put forward a decent arguement. pleas come here more often sn0man!
