you can play playstation one games on it as well, so you only need one system to play both, and its a cd & dvd player so i think its a great investment, the game cube MAY be better but i don't think it will be, the games that nintendo have made, a lot of them are childish they may be classic but a lot of them are childish. pokemon have taken over in nintendo

Look, your both Bias towards companies, I own a s2, and plan on buying A GCN wwhen it is released.

mario is kidish, it doesn't matter if u did good in it, its still kidish.im not saying mario is bad, i liked it b 4 but im saying most games for nintendo are kidish, like all those pokemon games(there are a lot of them) mario games(a lot) and others but they overdid it with mario and pokemon, pokemon snap, now really..... whats the point of that!? and the mario games.mario, mario cart,mario party 1 and 2, mario golf, mario tennis....... need i go on.i just find that nintendo wont let o of the baby games. as i stated b 4, most of the mature games came from sony

which is better, i think GCN, but there is now way to know for sure until it comes out. I would just like to add that MOULTON has never seen a picture of a GC game, or a video, and when people try to show him the Nintendo side of the argument he won't look, so i don't think he is in a position to judge which will be better.

in my opinion, the contest will come down between X-box and Nintendo. Sega doesn't really have the money to compete in the next-gen wars, and the PS2's rendering system has already proven to be a problem for it, sending certain developers over to Nintendo. The X-box and GCN are very similar in the rendering systems I have read, and in my opinion, it will come down to which of the two brings out the best games. That depends on who they can get to make games for them, and I think most companies would like to stay with Nitnendo, a name they know and trust, rather then spend the next-gen wars with an total unknown on the console scene.

Are you aware that the PS2 videos are pre rendered, while the GC videos are rendered in real time. I don't feel like explaining the whole thing, but the PS2 gameplay won't look as good as the video, while the GC gameplay WILL look as good as its videos, which are better than most PS2 videos in the first place. Infact, IGN said you can expect the Zelda gameplay to look better than the video.

Well I think the Gc will oviously rule and so will probably the xbox, but soy are still good, i like the psx and ps2 there not really bad well that hat i think anyway

well yeah. I'm not saying the ps2 is bad, it's a great system. But the GCN will be better. I just don't like how sony hypes up thier systems, so the average gamer just goes with the flashy signs.
