Megeton Annoncement-Its not Capcom

Hopefully stifling incessant, tedious internet rumours for good, Capcom financial officer Heiji Oshima has categorically denied reports that the publisher/developer is merging with anybody. “Those reports are totally groundless,” he said in an interview, unleashing a tidal wave of relief over gamers and journos so unimaginably bored of ‘Megaton’ hyperbole and nonsense editorial on the subject that they wouldn’t care any more or less if Nintendo bought Mars, going onto say: “We have no immediate plans to merge or tie up with other game makers.” Expect to see headlines built on the indecisive use of ‘immediate’ from the usual sources.

One such report recently proclaimed that no matter what happens, the Capcom buyout rumours will not die. Well, hopefully now they will, just as long as everyone stops writing about them...

Thank god, I want Capcom games on my PS2 and XBOX. They just don't do much good with Nintendo.

I dont see any thing wrong with them on Nintendo systems...I just dont think Nintendo is buying anyone.

I just want to see a Mega Man X or Zero game on the GCN. It wouldn't hurt to atleast put a sidescroller or some old school style type of games.

They just haven't done anything good with the GameCube yet. And fighting games just don't feel right with that control. Maybeif they concentrated more on it...but as of now, I just don't like Capcom/ Nintendo.

Well yeah you're right about the fighting game thing but I don't like any of the console controls for fighting. I prefer arcade joypads and 2d fighting aren't the world saviors.

2d blows 3d fighters out of the fucking water. And I can't stand the new RE games. The control and camera makes the games so aggrivating that I can't finish. I'm tired...

Capcom vs. SNK is on the GameCube already, you dip shit. You don't want it on the XBox because Capcom is going to make it an online game? Or because you're a moron?

yah i know it's not all that great, there's alot better fighting games out then the campcon vs snk series. I thin kthey should remake all the old megaman games on gba , well the ones that did the best.

2D Fighter > 3D Fighter.
Online Fighter > Normal Fighter
2D Online Fighter = One insanely hella-awesome fighting game.
