Well I still think Kinect is fantastic, and it continues to outsell the Wii itself so it shows no signs of slowing down. I've been on a Halo Reach binge but been going back to Kinect Adventures and Dance Central, and love them both. I honestly think DC is one of the top 30 at least titles for 360 overall and I look forward to what the future holds for Kinect.
All the naysayers, I will just say one last thing--as a giant company MS can make a lot of flops look at Zune. I'm not keen on defending multi-billion dollar companies and to be honest I think companies like Microsoft and Sony have spent the majority of their time and money the past 10 years trying to stay relevant. But you can tell when Microsoft will not allow something to fail and typically those products the public is interested in to begin with. Xbox Live was one such example that had a lot of people making excuses as to why it was a bad idea or would fail, and really Xbox Live in 2002-2004 is no where near as good as it is now. The majority of things on XBL gamers would have never imagined before and now they are common place things. Think of how much that service evolved and how much further Kinect will go? That's just my two cents on it.
If only right?
Move has already shown it's worth in the genre, and similar potential exists for kinect.

Well i'll be dammed. I didn't think Move had any RTS games. I guess it does (R.U.S.E.)
I love iWaggle's videos... that guy should get an award for excellent reviews.

^Why? Most of his reviews I can't even stomach if I'm not already planning on purchasing the game. He has the most annoying tone of voice in his reviews, it's almost depressing lol...
“Had the religion of Christianity been preserved according to the ordinances of the Founder, the state and commonwealth of Christendom would have been far more united and happy than they are. Nor can there be a greater proof of its decadence than the fact that the nearer people are to the Church, the head of their religion, the less religious are they.”
"By their Fruits, you will recognize them..."
Yea, he sounds like someone's going to slice his ears off unless he completes his reviews.
Anyway, what have Move RTS games got to do with Kinect?

Not the best voice, yes, but his reviews are thorough and do a great job of analyzing the most important aspects of a motion controlled game... the control. Other reviews typically do not go anywhere near into as much depth as his do.^Why? Most of his reviews I can't even stomach if I'm not already planning on purchasing the game. And Move RTS games have nothing to do with Kinect, we were just talking about how since move already has some, it's already been shown that motion control works good with the genre so there is no reason why kinect couldn't have it either.

I just mean that it'd be a pity for yet another X360 thread to veer into PS3 talk. Again.

Who cares, as long as it's relevant to the discussion? I don't see anyone else complaining.

Exactly... technically Move would be even more accurate for those medical operations (lag free, sub-millimeter precision).
and it has already been proven it could be useful to be useful to control robots...
(lag free sub-millimeter accuracy for both hands, as well as full body tracking... and it has buttons for doing complex tasks which kinect does not)
3D modeling?
as for restoring sight to the blind... bullshit. it's just an alarm that notifies blind people when an object is coming... and there are other much cheaper methods of doing just that (the sensors on car bumpers that beep when you're about to back into something, for instance).

That "blind sight" thing was developed at my Uni. Though interesting, Kinects precision hardly makes it work. If you are in a smaller corridor, the sensor always alarms the user of walls with no way to move in any direction. And by smaller I mean like 2 or 3 meters wide.

It sounds interesting on paper. I just hope the final build of the game looks a lot better than those old screenshots.
Looks like another on rails HOTD rip off with some motion control tacked on, but we'll see.
