The argument that i dont want GOW or any game on home consoles on portables is pretty lame in my opinion. Gravity Rush would also be prettier and possibly better to control with Move on PS3 but by your logic its ok because it wasnt on PS3 first. Something like GOW is not ok because it was on PS3 first. So by that logic Gravity Rush will hypothetically be dumbed down in some ways because a hypothetical PS3 version would have been so much better. I hate to say it but if thats your train of thought then i definitely think you might be right. Portable gaming definitely isnt for you.
You make it sound like its this massive gap like with Wii VS PS3 when in reality its damn close. Compare a launch VITA Uncharted vs a near launch Uncharted on PS3. You might just be pleasantly surprised.

The obvious thing to point out is we never played Gravity Rush before. So it will of course be associated as a VITA IP. And it looks awesome to boost.
If I played GoW3, the best most badass looking game this gen and then I get a VITA version, I will of course be underwhelmed.
Also you are taking my point to a bit extreme there, it's not that I don't want ANY home console game on VITA but it's all Sony giving us. If the idea of handhelds is to play home console games but in a worse way, I don't see how it is for anyone.
My idea of handheld is to craft experiences that makes sense to be handheld and utilise VITA's input in interesting ways instead of this very uninspired method of porting PS3 IPs to it, which shows very little respect for the device.
It's not just about the IP though, also the experience. Like GTA: Chinatown on DSi was crafted for handheld, where GTA on PSP was pretty much GTA3. I know it is a power thing but...I want the former and I enjoyed it more, why, because it was a brand new way to enjoy GTA. And it was super fun and felt like a handheld game.
I'll see how it goes but it looks like I agree with Nintendo's philosophy (experiences crafted for handheld) more than Sony's (PS3Lite in your hands) when it comes to handheld.
But please don't take this as me putting the nail on the VITA coffin, not even close. But I am saying this is why I answered "unsatisfied" in that survey.

always a good idea to wait it out with me friend'-)
lol...I feel you though, I like handheld platforms for long-grinding games like RPG or Strategy games or even online co-op titles like Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star. I'm not a big fan of "portable experiences" for the most part as they tend to feel too much like mini-games. But there are exceptions like Wario Ware, Karting games, Brain Age, and of course hundreds of RPG's. Perhaps its because of market share and the success of DS, but Nintendo seems to still have a more portable-minded philosophy and portfolio of games. I'm confident Sony catches up quickly this time around, would be a shame for it to be DS and PSP all over again with Sony thriving on pretty much 1 franchise and the bulk of 3rd party efforts going to 3DS. That's the main issue with me getting my Vita now, so I have to wait on this one, especially with next-gen stuff coming, getting rid of Wii soon to pick up Wii-U. It shouldn't be that much money or that bleeding edge so I'll give it a go day one if it's like a $300 console, be a nice Wii-replacement.
Going Nintendo/Sony for the console space again no question, but still up in the air on portable platform.

“Had the religion of Christianity been preserved according to the ordinances of the Founder, the state and commonwealth of Christendom would have been far more united and happy than they are. Nor can there be a greater proof of its decadence than the fact that the nearer people are to the Church, the head of their religion, the less religious are they.”

...IGN.Lumines Producer: Major Vita Games in the Works
In an interview with Lumines: Electronic Symphony producer James Mielke conducted by IGN's sister site 1UP, some rather interesting news was revealed about the status of upcoming PlayStation Vita games in the works in Japan.
Addressing concerns about Vita's long-term health in the face of concerns around pricing, complaints about needing to purchase additional memory units, or any of the other issues that naysayers have raised, he gave a rather confident response on Sony's behalf:
"The only thing that is going to hold Sony back from succeeding with the Vita is having the right games," Mielke said. "And one of the benefits of working on the developer side in Japan is I know for a fact that they've got some games that, when they announce them, people are going to forget about all of the problems that they're imagining with the Vita."
Those are some big words, and should fill early Vita adopters with some confidence that a deluge of announcements may be right around the corner.
Believe it when I see it....but I won't lie, just to hear a dev make the comment is a good sign...

On Android, the dedicated Youtube App works a LOT better than the browser versions (well, at least Android and Chrome ones are highly unstable and slow).
Kept you waiting
I'd ask why not work to make it run better in the browser rather than make a fully dedicated app but I think the market is so damn app happy that they'd rather have separate apps for what should already be part of a larger piece of software.
Because it's exponentially more complex to make it work in a browser than in a dedicated app.
Kept you waiting
Google Chrome should be on PS3 and Vita already...
but yeah, people like Apps now....
