Bomberman Ultra explodes June 11

News: Hudson Soft's key franchise debuts on PSN the week after E3 2009.

We've been having a blast with Bomberman Live on Xbox Live Arcade for almost two years and we would be saying the same thing about Bomerman Blast for WiiWare if more people downloaded that version. What we couldn't ever think of saying is that we've been having fun playing the PSN version of Hudson Soft's game for more than five minutes because it hasn't been released yet. We only got a brief demo of the game at NY ComicCon 2009.

All of that it about to change, as the release of Bomberman Ultra is imminent. Hudson Soft announced that the game is slated for a June 11 release, which is a week after E3 2009. So, if you're money isn't already allotted to pre-orders of all of the new games announced, you'll be able to download Bomberman Blast onto your PS3.

While the core Bomberman gameplay remains the same, you can check out the explosive action of the PSN version in the new trailer below:
