i'm really on the fence with this one. on one hand i see it's the perfect game for MOVE, on the other hand i don't really like MOVE (although LBP2 is about to change my mind i think this Wednesday!) as for the story and game itself... who knows?
I think Move would be pretty perfect for this game. To me, Move's impracticality can be as a pointer/light gun unless you fine tune the calibration. Something like this would only need to know which way to slash, something that would also translate well to the Vita's rear touch pad.

About time. Here's hoping it's finally worth it.

By KojimaMight be good after all.
Konami have abandoned the Zan-Datsu trademark and seems to have changed the producer
http://thesnakesoup.org/?section=news&t=5652Holy shit, just one minute after posted our previous news story about the ZAN-DATSU trademark being abandoned by Konami, I find out that Yuji Korekado has a Twitter. Okay, that's not a big deal. How Hideo Kojima introduced him according to andriasang is, though:
"It's Producer Korekado, who in charge of Rising. His nickname is Kore-P."
"In charge"? According to the staff list in the E3 2010 trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Korekado, or "Kore-P" as he prefers to be called, is Rising's Assistant Producer. Shigenobu Matsuyama is the Producer. ...or maybe not. Maybe that whole joke about him being left in a locker somewhere bares some truth in it. Or maybe Kojima is simply retrained by Twitter's 140 character limit and was unable to get detailed about Kore-P's actual role in Rising's development and thus everyone's learning Shigenobu Matsuyama's name was not done in vain.
So, it will be nothing like it was before. I don't think it'll be a generic stealth brawler/slasher now, but I gotta wonder what kind of concept they'll strive for.

my interest for this game is slowly dwindling away...
For all I care, it can only get better... I've already played enough GOW style games.
Kept you waiting
By the way, is there any Ninja Gaiden-style game with an emphasis on stealth? I can see them going in that direction and adding some elements from their old concept, plus the typical Metal Gear spins.

Never played them but I'm pretty sure the Tenchu games emphasized on stealth.
Even if it isn't a Kojima game, I'd expect them to make something that would be original to some extent and bring something fresh to the genre it could fit in.

I have a feeling we are going to be blown away by the VGA trailer.
Teaser, nothing new, just the truth will be revealed by Kojima

Meh, they just used some footage that may as well be obsolete.

Looks like this will be a full re-reveal.

most likely nothing, but it is the second Magazine with MGS risingIn what is billed as the Metal Gear creator's most candid interview ever, Kokima will offer open and frank opinions on Metal Gear Solid Rising and openly discuss plans for Metal Gear Solid 5 and the mysterious Project Ogre for the first time.

Nothing about Rising so far has actually made me hyped, but I look forward to the reveal. There's a chance I will be interested, particularly if they have changed their mind about the main game design.
