No, it can stay here for PS3 news just understand that we like to discuss news a lot and if 4 or 5 news pieces get posted here, ti would be hard to hold any relevant conversation about any of them.
That was the plan all along. Thats what i did with the Uncharted news today just posting the headline in here and a full interview with Evan Wells in its respective thread. For those that just want to come and skim headlines for the day this is the perfect thread and for those that dont well they dont really have to come here they can just ignore it so win win for everyone.

Get Syphon Filter Free With This Month's Qore
This would really be cool if they started offering new free PS1 classics with every new month of Qore. Good stuff Sony Keep it up. I hope they implement stuff like this for trophies cause they really seem pointless to me at the moment.
Persona for the PSP! Awesome!
Insert extremem fanboy quote here.
Yes, no problem about that. We just tell you when you post something that has just been discussed in the same page of a given thread
No. Create a general one there if you wish.
I see some thread-worthy news articles here, but on the other hand we don't always bother to create threads about them. We just don't care about some games that much, so maybe their only chance is by appearing first here.

Could This Be Dead Rising 2?

Square Enix Delays Financial Results, Stock Hits Five-Year Low Investors could be pulling out due to fears of game delays
I cant say im surprised considering how Wadda has been running Square as of late.Square Enix's announced a delay to its earning announcement, resulting in a five-year low to its stock value. The 11% drop on the Tokyo Stock Exchange followed directly after the company delayed its earnings, blaming "accounting work." The announcement is now scheduled to come on February 12.
A delayed earnings call alone is enough to make investors nervous, but some might be more afraid that Square Enix is set to announce delays to tentpole releases like Final Fantasy XIII or Dragon Quest IX. The company itself hasn't given any signs of this, but a last-minute earnings delay is bound to fan the flames of speculation. We'll see exactly what they do have to say next week.
Worms Headed to PSN?
Listings on the German USK ratings board suggest that the classic series is coming to PS3.
Let's see... Releasing poor quality games? Check.Square Enix Delays Financial Results, Stock Hits Five-Year Low Investors could be pulling out due to fears of game delays
Releases poor quality games to markets which it's fans are not most prevalent? Check.
Allows flagship franchise to be run by novice directors? Check.
Does not invest enough in technology to represent Final Fantasy as a tech marvel as it has always achieved in the past? Check.
Wastes money remaking Advent Children into a worse movie by incorporating more and more anime style, innappropriate for such a realistic looking film and simply innappropriate with how insanely amateurish the new scenes are, which is counterintuitive to global appeal? Check.
Doesn't listen to what fans want? Doesn't realise what appeals most to western audiences/global fans from what Square should be good at doing is what they have been doing originally before they decided to 'branch out?' Double check...
Oh what's this? The new Square-Enix game for Nintendo DS I find in my e-mail today?
***k that. Triple check everything.
But ultimately: HAS NOT DECIDED TO RE-RELEASE FINAL FANTASY VII ON PLAYSTATION 3. BIG FUCKING CHECK.
how about we start a new thread like this for every day something gets posted? It would be easier to follow.
For example, threads will be like this:
10th Feb, News Headlines.
15th Feb. News Headlines.
etc.

I don't think the forum set up is suitable for so many divisions for chronological order. Archiving weekly is too much and we'd have waaay too many threads just for News of the Day headlines.
Maybe monthly news threads might work like that though. Like 'Feb 2009 - PS3 News of the Day Thread.'
Until the moderators who have control over the PS3 section are willing keep monthly threads controlled and organized I say this what we have here is great.
P.S. Where did you get a 5 day division though? Lol. The moon is for moonth and the seven days are seven of our astronomical bodies
Sunday... moonday... marsdi... mercury-credi... jupiter-edi... venus-dredi... saturn-medi...

“Had the religion of Christianity been preserved according to the ordinances of the Founder, the state and commonwealth of Christendom would have been far more united and happy than they are. Nor can there be a greater proof of its decadence than the fact that the nearer people are to the Church, the head of their religion, the less religious are they.”

Dead to Rights to return this year News
Here's one franchise revival we didn't expect to see in a recession year - Namco Bandai is making a new Dead to Rights game for a release in the fourth quarter of 2009.
According to a preview in the US official PlayStation mag - seen by 1UP - the latest in the profoundly mediocre action series about one maverick cop and his dog is in development for PS3. A 360 version seems like a safe bet, too.
The developer is the UK's Volatile Games, a division of Blitz, which made the so-so Reservoir Dogs back in 2006. Called simply Dead to Rights, the new game will not be a sequel but a "new beginning" in the adventures of Jack Slate and Shadow the dog.
It's still a third-person shooter, only with more hand-to-hand combat. In what amounts to an interesting development as far as this particular news story goes, Shadow will be a stray instead of a trained police dog, but still a useful ally in a scrap.
1up reports a "sort of Jason Bourne-style" look to the game. More when we have it.
I like the setup of the thread as is. Post tidbits here and go to the actual thread for more juicy info.

A visit to a certain LinkedIn profile will verify that Ready At Dawn is indeed working on an original PS3/Xbox 360 title. No other details at this time. Ready at Dawn was responsible for Daxter and God of War: Chains of Olympus on the PSP. They also ported Okami to the Wii, so it will be interesting to see what they have cooking.
Cool; I've been waiting for RaD's reveal for so long. They are incredible on PSP; I want to see if they can do the same on PS3.
