i could have sworn i heard about this tech from Sony a few years back. i do find it quite annoying that they call it Kinect like and now acknowledge that it's just a natural development from the Eyetoy and the PSEye. it's almost as if the industry just want to rewrite history. anyway, here's another way to extend the PS3s lifecycle:

And here's us reporting the same thing and then some 5 months ago.

yeah, i just answered you on N4G lol. people are saying that it will probably come with the PS4, but i'm not so quick to call that. if Sony bring out a PSEye3D that does what Kinect does and works in conjunction with the MOVE and is backward compatible to boot, then i think you can safely say that now the Vita has released, Sony have got all the reason in the world to approach EVERY dev out there and ask for a version of ANY game made from here on in.
Kinect games (can do)
WiiU games (can do)
Wii games (can do)
Move Games with PSEye3D (extremely accurate: can do)
if Sony play this right then there sitting on a goldmine here
Bear in mind, I doubt MS will repeat the same mistakes with kinect 2. Sony will have competition there. Wii U may even jump into the mix with a camera at some point.

I'd rather they just drop all that shit^^ I do like Move, I didn't like Wii (but that's more down to the games I played rather than the system itself) and I haven't used Kinect. Though I am a different gamer than what is targetted with these things.
Just make a fucking good console and don't overprice and underpromise it and we're all better off.

MOVE was definitely the most disappointing thing I've bought on PS (considering in the games and everything).

Actually Trash Panic came to mind lol. That definitely was disappointing. Was expecting a more in depth tetris like game, got a...wtfever that was.
I am not disagreeing but just making a a suggestion. Go pick up The house of the Dead: Overkill. It should be in the bargain bin by now. I played it a little at a friends place and it was good fun in a sort of pulp fiction kind of way. Ill be picking it up as soon as i clear some of my backlog. Light gun games are the only games i seem to enjoy with MC's.

house of the dead 3 is on PSN for about £3.50 at the moment
Well if Sony wants to compete in this particular area, which I personally feel it is going to be tough against Kinect and WiiU, especially considering they will probably be late to these parties, then they will have to make it standard in the box with every console. Though if some form of this gaming is necessary than make a better camera (3D/HD) and reuse the Move controllers (I would assume that a better camera would increase there performance). Keep the Move controllers cheap, target your Move games to the diehard gamers, i.e don't bother developing fitness games and the like some 3rd party will take up that slack, and also be prepared to make games (gamer games if you will) play exclusively with the Move controller. Options are nice, but if you want this to take off you are going to have to make core games without the option to play with a standard controller.
I HATED using the Wiimote with RE Chronicles. The thing about on rails shooters it you need to be able to aim down the sights, not have to look for a crosshair on the screen. You could do this in Duck Hunt, which didn't even HAVE an on-screen crosshair, but you can't in RE Chronicles. That's what soured me on motion controllers for games like House of the Dead. I'm assuming it's just as sucky with Move?

Considering it's been 4 years since their last console game, and likely next-gen seeing how long it takes them to develop a single game. I just want something else out of this.
I get the feeling that they shouldn't have gone Multi-plat, they were on a pretty good schedule with releases, 4 console games last generation with 1 this generation. Their first Multi-plat game was near cancellation, and your looking at probably 6 years in between releases?
Funny considering I play my move more than anything else on my ps3. Still trying to master that disc golf... Kinda good knowing i'm playing a game that relies on my own skill instead of how well i can press a button.MOVE was definitely the most disappointing thing I've bought on PS (considering in the games and everything).

There is nothing funny about it, different strokes for different folks.
I pwn at disc golf btw.
Yay... MGS for PC^^ very good.

A non fully Japanese developed MGS could be interesting to say the least. It's a shame that other than Peace Walker, there hasn't really been another proper MGS title, reboot or otherwise.
Anyway, isn't the series turning 25 this year? I wonder what they'll be announcing. I doubt it'll appear on next gen systems if they're still at least 1.5 years away.
By the way, about the dog:
I guess it means something. Co-developed with Naughty Dog?![]()
