I heard that you get only a download code If you buy the collectors edition. It sucks these days that devs are to stingy to press soundtracks on cds.
Read Dead Redemption DLC adds co-op
Read Dead Redemption will see free co-op DLC released on both PS3 and Xbox 360 next month, Rockstar's announced.
The 'Outlaws To The End' pack will be released in June and adds "an entirely new dimension to Red Dead Redemption's game play," according to Rockstar.
The pack features six new multiplayer missions for 2-4 players, plus new Achievements and Trophies. The modes include (in Rockstar's words):
"Walton's Gold"
Walton's Gang have taken control of a mining camp rich with gold. Fight through the camp and load your mine cart with as much gold as you can carry and get out as fast as you can - Walton's boys have rigged the place to blow.
"The River"
Ride a raft down river, taking out rebel encampments along the way until you reach the rebel stronghold of Nosalida and a final epic battle for the town's massive weapons caches. Watch out for Gatling gun-equipped enemy rafts.
"Ammunition"
The Mexican Army has the town of Tesoro Azul under siege. Storm the gates under heavy cannon, Gatling gun and sniper fire to destroy the Mexican artillery placements.
Sam Houser said of the DLC: "Multiplayer in Red Dead Redemption offers players a whole new way to encounter the massive open world we've created, but we felt the experience would not be complete without co-op game play.
"With these missions, we wanted to create new ways for players to share in the experience of engaging with this amazing landscape."
Good stuff. Red Dead Redemption's out on May 21 in Europe.

First review from Game informer is in and its a 9.75/10![]()
I don't think anyone ever doubted this game to be honest.
9.75 is great and I'm expecting 10s for sure.
Well I for one hold the reverse view that people THINK it's inflated because apparently the press loves Rockstar?
I don't get where that myth came from.
Just because they constantly put out great games and get great scores doesn't mean the press is biased.
The game is 2 years old now, it's still one of the best games around by today's standards (DLCs prove this further). You can see how a 10 can be justified.Originally Posted by Diresu

Anyway this isn't a GTA4 discussion, we had this "omg it's not a 10!" "omg yes it is!" debate 90% of the time in the GTA4 thread.
If you don't want to trust the reviews, of course go ahead, I was just picking on the unproven fact that apparently the press inflate Rockstar games' score. They might be higher than you'd like but don't state it like a fact that the scores are inflated.
Also as a tip: They released like 4-5 detailed gameplay videos so really who the hell needs the reviews.

I don't doubt it will be great. I am just saying the reviews will be inflated if GTAIV is any indication. It has 98 on metacritic..and that game is NOT that good, not nearly.
How is it unproven exactly? Especially in case of GTA. But anyway, as you said it's not a GTA discussion. I expect great things from this game but like I said, I have no doubt the scores will be inflated. It's not just a R* thing. It's a thing with most hyped up major releases. Halo, ME2, MGS etc. I loved MGS4 to death but even that was not a 10/10 game.If you don't want to trust the reviews, of course go ahead, I was just picking on the unproven fact that apparently the press inflate Rockstar games' score. Of course it's my opinion. 98 Metacritic score though isn't an opinion it's fact. You also don't have to be loud to have a reputation that creates massive hype for every game. Hell there are plenty of reviewers that even said that the scores GTAIV got weren't necessarily deserved. That came from various reviewers that used to work at 1up and their podcasts. I don't know why you are getting so defensive though...it's not like i'm saying they make terrible gamesAgain, in your opinion.
I don't know why you are so keen on stating it like a fact.
Apparently Rockstar, a very quiet company mind you, somehow got hundreds of press wrapped around their finger...?

And why do you keep bringing GTA4 into this?
If you have a problem with GTA4 we have a thread for it.
Fair enough. MGS4 WAS 10/10 if you cared about the story! ;p!It's not just a R* thing. It's a thing with most hyped up major releases. Halo, ME2, MGS etc. I loved MGS4 to death but even that was not a 10/10 game.
Exactly, because Rockstar lets the games speaks for themselves. If they were shit games, no-one would listen. They let the games do the hype and the games are that good, that's why it works. You also don't have to be loud to have a reputation that creates massive hype for every game.

Yeah but in all honesty though it might be the case with GTA but Rockstars other franchises dont get the same treatment. Red Dead Revolver got average reviews and rightfully so. The same with Manhunt 2 and Midnight Club. Bully and the Warriors only scored in the mid 80's.
Anyways lets drop this debate and wait on a couple of more reliable reviews. I for one am super hyped!!!
