1) What was your FIRST video game console?
Sega Genesis. My mom wouldn't let us have anything before that so before that I just played a ton of shareware games on my PC.

Favorites were Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade, Quackshot, World of Illusion, Valis, Alladin, the Aquatic Games, James Pond 2, Road Rash 2, Global Gladiators, Toejam & Earl

3) Excluding handhelds, how many VG consoles do you own presently?
In my household there is: Xbox 360 Elite, Xbox 360 Pro, PS3, 2 Wii's, GameCube, PS2, PS2 JP Slim, SNES, NES ... and then stuff like original Xbox, Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, and N64 haven't been moved over here yet.

4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?
No. But I always thought Cammy was cool.

5) Do you think Capcom is a F---ING awesome company with kickass character designs?
Capcom is cool..

6) Here's the scenario.. You had some friends over and you all ate FRIED CHICKEN! After the meal you all decide to play some video games. As your friend reaches for a controller you notice his/her hands are very "greasy." Are you the type that would insist they wash their hands before pawing the controller, or is it no big deal?
Yes, that is a big deal. I hate gross controllers. I hate when people use my stuff and make it dirty. I even hate using controllers that have been warmed by someone else's body heat, let alone marred by their greasiness.

7) What's your favorite RPG/Action RPG?
Secret of Mana. Though the combat system of Eternal Sonata ranks up there too.

8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?
I prefer games that look nice.

9) Are you an SNK fan?
Not really. I do have a kickass Neo Geo Pocket Color, a slim one in blue camo. But most of the games I feel like are focused on fighting games and they don't hold my attention that long.

10) Are you good at DDR?
I'm decent.

Nah.

12) Have you skipped out on important events in life because of video games?
No.

13) Do you listen to video game music?
Yes, I have a ton of video game soundtracks. Favorites are Zelda music, Castlevania music, Sonic music, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and pretty much anything that Motoi Sakuraba composed (i.e. Baten Kaitos, Eternal Sonata, Tales of series)

14) Have you ever cosplayed a VG character?
No.

15) Have you ever been in an arcade playing a fighting game, KICKING ASS, and then some 6 year old Asian kid comes in and OWNS YOU??
No.

I don't know... I don't really care about remakes.

Both. At the Olympics.

No, not really. Unless I specifically hear that the game is good.

My own first was a Mega Drive (Gameboy was first, but it is handheld)... But my brother had a Atari VCS2600 when I was about 4... so

On Atari: Pitfall, Adventure, Boxing, Pacman (how I loathe thee)

On Mega Drive: Sonic 1-3 & Knuckles, Streets of Rage, Ultimate Soccer (much better than Fifa at the time), Super Hang On, Columns, Street Fighter 2, Soleil, Mega lo Mania, Dune 2

several... PS2, PS3, Mega Drive, Amiga (several), C64... and some others

4) Were you a Street Fighter nut? Any character in particular?

Well, yes and no... I was when I was 14 but nowadays not anymore... I used to love those games, but the pure memorizing of stuff was too much "work" to be fun.

5) Do you think Capcom is a F---ING awesome company with kickass character designs?

Actually... no. At least not anymore. Their character design *WAS* great (till the mid of the PS2 era)... but now I find their design to be quite boring... RE5 looks like RE4 in High Def and Steroids, DMC4 looks like DMC3 in High Def, Mega Man 9 looks like Mega Man 2 (on purpose!) and Bionic Commando WILL lose it's mature look from the original.

Of course... My controllers get used every day... If I or anyone else has dirty hands they cannot touch them unless they wash their hands. I wash my hands nearly every time before I play (have white DS3s^^)

Dunno... Never really played those games... only if you count God of War or something like that as "Action RPG"... else FFVIII and X and XII, Soleil (I still love that game somehow) and some others (NWN et al)

8) Do you prefer 2D games or 3D games?

I first was disturbed at 3D games back when PS1 hit (arcades looked so much better), but it grew on me. I became sort of a graphics whore (but I do play games that play well and look bad too!)

9) Are you an SNK fan?

Of course, Metal Slug is one of my alltime favourite game series... I still regularly play through each and every one.

10) Are you good at DDR?

I am usually ok in rhythm games... Never played with a dance mat before though

Oh yeah, I regularly listen to Slay Radio (slayradio.org), download Amiga remixes and get OSTs of games like Metal Gear and FF.

Resident Evil 2, Mortal Kombat 2 or 3 (with digitized characters!), NFS1 (with open roads, a to b races, "crashes", police... but NOT with moronic tuning, cheap ass rubber band AI and cheating cops)

Never had any Mario games beside 2 and Wario on the Gameboy... so my guess is Sonic, because I played the 16 bit games to hell and back!

Never ever... Never did and never will do... 99.5% of movie tie-ins suck... and there's a reason... Movies and games don't mix well... ever!

It depends. My favorite JRPG series is Final Fantasy, and my favorite entry of the series is Final Fantasy VI (six, not seven), and this is what typically comes to mind when thinking of classic RPGs. However, looking at the genre in general, I'd probably have to go with The Elder Scrolls (series), and probably Oblivion if I had to pick a specific title. However, Fallout 3 is pretty awesome, as well.

There's a place for both. Most of what I play is 3D, but it's not by choice, but simply because that's just the way they happen to be.
