They said the "problem" right there in the news story. You can program animals to greet you by whatever "pet name" you'd like. When you connect online or direct to other users, animals, greetings, clothes and so on can be swapped between games... so, someone else's sense of humor can impact your own game.
All online games state "Experience may change during online play" as a safety net.
They said it was only in a few press copies of the game aswell. I believe it said "nigga".
Hahaha. How does something like that end up in the game. Do they not say "nigga" in GTA?

Well all of Japan's culture has a very "unique" look on black people. My friend went there for his Japanese business major and said they sold these banana Popsicles with a caricature of a black guy that looks like it's straight out of the turn of the 20th century. There is also stuff like this:
