Does anyone think this game is rather challenging given its concept of being a more casual friendly title??

Just picked it up today, but I'm sure casuals will find enough content that they can jump right into from the jump--especially the mini games.
Anyway, it's supposed to be a game that goes on for years because the hardcore keep cooking up new stuff on top of updates from MM. Casuals aren't gonna keep the game running--so it's obvious the game is gonna be more tailored to hardcore gamers that put the most time and effort into it.
I wouldn't say it's harder than some of the Mario games though.

Its casual in that it can be picked up and played and enjoyed either for a few minutes whilst completing a level or for hours whilst making a level. Hopefully its as challenging as you say
