Tom Clancy and Wii sitting in a tree

    http://nintendonow.e-mpire.com/index...articleid=4603

Ubisoft has been working hard on porting their new PS3/X360 Tom Clancy engine for Wii so the little white box that could won't feel left out of any future Tom Clancy games.

I'm looking forward to H.A.W.X. and EndWar personally.

Im looking forward to anything that has the typical quality of Tom Clancy games on it and ported over to the Wii well.

Im tired of seeing awesome Tom Clancy games on every friggin console BUT the Wii. :|

Seems Ubisoft has spent all this time porting over the engine. I consider that a very good thing.

It depends. They used to be a perfect fit for PC. Now they usually fit perfectly with 360. It'll take an excellent game to make me abandon those platforms, and it must have similar features (namely, online). Endwar looks decent, but I felt HAWX was just a way to make use of the Tom Clancy name after Ubi acquired it. But we'll see...and this is good news either way.

I doubt it gives reason for anyone to abandon a platform they've already established themselves with (unless the controls are frikkin phenomenal) but it's a series Wii centric gamers will no longer miss out on.

  8. I just want Splinter Cell: Conviction to come out before the end of the decade. One or two news bits last year and then poof. Disappeared.
