My Wii makes noise

when playing a game, i can constantly hear the disc spinning. like i spinning/vibration noise. it just started not to long ago. and its kinda annoying. when im not playing a game and its sitting there on the menu, it still makes the noise.

Call Nintendo. I'm 99% sure they'll replace your Wii at no charge.

Turn the volume up so you can't hear it.

Or I dunno. Call Nintendo? It might say something about it in those manuals no one reads that are in the Wii box.

That's a bad disc drive. Include that link with your initial correspondents with Nintendo so they'll have an audible representation of your problem.

I am actually having the same problem. I was thinking about calling Nintendo but ive just been so lazy, maybe ill get off my ass and finally do it.

and now im thinking my wii is out of warrenty. i bought it jan of 07.

did you get the 90-day extension by registering it online? you might still be able to do that.

if not, nintendo might replace it for you anyways. they're very good about taking care of their products in or out of warantee.

I got a replacement GC 3 years past warranty when my youngest spilled kool aid in mine.

Gotta love Nintendo's customer support. Sony hated having to fix my PS2 when it was an issue of their faulty hardware ten months after buying the damned thing. I can just imagine calling them three years after buying it and telling them I spilled Kool-Aid into it. "Um..., we at Sony would like to politely recommend that you go fuck yourself, sir."
