So what's the trick to the gem hoarder one? Do you have to dance on a tower to make it black before selling it (to get the extra gems)? I didn't spend any gems and came three short of the limit...

Yeah, that's what I did. Not as hard as it seems.

I still don't get it in which level you get which trophy.

There's a separate access screen to the trophies. Go to "trophy challenge" under the main menu and select the level there...

I got all the trophy challenges except for two, and I also got at least a couple of hidden trophies Damn, rainbowing the 4 tree level stage and the other hard one is going to be tough.

    Congrats man.

I've been addicted to this game now, I can't move on until I rainbow a level!!
Sometimes I get to Wave 19 and lose a village person and I restart.

Just recently I was doing great (in the level "so many monsters") and all of a sudden those big fat balloon things with shields came and I was like "WTF!!!" and got pwned!

I will go back to it and the first thing I buy/ build will be Laser towers! THOSE FUCKERS WILL PAY!!!!!!!!!!

Also I got another save going in 2 players, it's pretty easy on 2 players.

I changed my strategy in the gold trophy challenge, last time I tried earlier today I only lost one villager/baby/whatever

    EDIT: Yay gold!

    One trophy left

Deep impact is rather easy on Encore Medium 1. Make sure to use as many ice towers to gather a good number of pines in the 10th wave. Sell the towers that may interfere. Upgrade the mortar to purple if you can.

Thanks. To get the lose no coin, clear the stage where monsters don't drop coin.

Yeah, that's what I did eventually. I'd swear I didn't lose any coin or forgot to get any hidden coins in other easy levels, but for some reason it didn't work. Oh well.

All trophies obtained It's the first time I actually wanted to get all of them. I couldn't even be bothered to get the last one in SSHD, as much as I like it.

Hehe, I've rainbowed a few more levels and I just beat CreativeWriter in the total score of both islands My next goal will be obtaining 300k points in Tiki Island, just 11k to go

OK, I think I've finally got the hang of this game (thank God for the casual difficulty setting LOL).

I don't plan on staying at this difficulty for long though, but this has been good in giving me the general idea of what I'm supposed to be doing.

Edit: Still suck quite a lot :P

So I found the recording feature. I did pretty well until the last couple of waves. Would somebody mind watching it and giving me a few pointers? Is there something I'm doing wrong? This is only the second level on easy and I can't get through without losing people

I skipped through the vid. Hope this helps...

    A few tips:
-you don't need ice towers on this level
-you wasted quite a few gems upgrading arrow towers. The first upgrade on an arrow tower just increases the range it can fire, not its damage. Instead of spending gems, position your arrow towers closer to the start of the level where you know the spiders will pass, in the bottom row of the choke point at the beginning. Rarely will I ever spend a gem to upgrade to yellow.
-you used the three best tree placements (near the choke-point at the beginning) for arrow towers and antiair. Those should all be cannon towers. Your arrows and anti-air have longer ranges. Those can go behind the cannon towers.
-you rarely danced on towers to upgrade them, instead running out after the dropped coins too soon. Hit L1 to see which towers are close to upgrading and dance on them first. Then run out for the coins when they start to blink. Use gems to upgrade one anti-air to purple instead of buying two. Use the extra cash on cannon towers. In general, you had too many arrow towers and too few cannon.
-cluster your towers near the choke point at the beginning of the level. You may only need to run back if something breaks through, but if you're rainbowing the level nothing will make it.
    -Good luck!

See, I would've never noticed half of that stuff! Thanks for the advice

Update 2.05 is available now, although I have no idea of what it does. I played it for a while and I don't see any changes.
