Hope you enjoy!
I'm glad Rock Band's getting new songs, and I'm planning on picking up the Oasis ones, but I'd really like to see some more heavy-hitters, and maybe some Muse, Coldplay, or some more Radiohead is always welcome (I really want "Just" and Paranoid Android)
lol skip that demo it's ridiculously bad.
I thought Turok took the worsest demo ever reward but that even worser that the worsest.
Im just installing Conflict.
Sad in which direction the series has gone, still remember the first one, Desert Storm.
It wasn that bad, had some flaws here and there but the game was okay.
But the second one was... and i dont want to talk Conflict: Vietnam. *shudders*
EDIT: Btw. im also downloading Turok atm. i know a bit late, but it seems like i dont really have missed something.
You will delete Turok as quickly as you'll delete Conflict.
So i finished the C demo... my god.
PS2 game with bad HDR and plastic action figures as charas.
Wtf was up with Conflict?
I enjoyed the previous games and now they've gone and fucked it up, what the hell.
It's this fucking next-gen getting into developer's heads.
"ohhh, let's make it FPS"
"ooohhh, let's make everything break into pieces!"
Yeah, fuck fun gameplay when everything breaks into pieces, yay.
And in what world does a explosive barrel (red huge things btw in case you weren't familiar with unoriginal design) jump 20 feet in the air when you shoot it and explodes AFTER landing?
Jesus fucking christ.
This demo was embarrassing to put it nicely.
Turok is GOTY compared to this.
I think I'm going to sell my PS3 and just get a Wii you know.
I think so many games have been jeporides (or however you spell it) in the name of "making them next-gen".
Everyone is so worried about having the latest tech and shit in their game that they forget the game.
The blood in Conflict looks like the blood in GTA3. LOL
Finished installing Tuco... Turok, lets see what this game has to offer, or not.
-rep to anyone who buys Conshit.
Yeah, I'm serious.
So Turok is WAAAAY better than Conshit (lol).
But still meh, so generic, even the German synchro is generic.
Those little Dinos are cool though, they dont attack but run after you and sniff. 8)
The grass animation is not bad and i liked the stick controls, pretty accurate.
Melee sucks just like the sound and the level design "hey i think i managed to finally get out of the caves... no wait the texture here is just a bit brighter".
Reminds me of old PS2 shooters where the lightning was fakes with the textures.
It doesn't really make you confident on the UE 3.0 engine used by third parties other than Epic.
I actually think Turok suffers from the engine.
There are some nice gameplay ideas and a lot of potential in the game but just alone the design destroys everything.
