    Mario Strikers Charged anyone?

Ill probably pick this up at Wal-Mart or some electronics store on my way back tonight from a game that should have had Beckham but his injured arse wont make an appearance apparently.

Who else will be buying this game?

I'll be buying it. Hopefully the online portion is fun and doesn't require more codes to play with people.
<Sigurd> a sprite is anything not static...
    <SRElysian> a sprite is a variable object
    <SRElysian> be it 2d or 3d
    <TorMuck> a sprite is a fucking soda

It requires a different friend code then the regular Wii code itself. Aka, you will be using a new friend code for your friends. Otherwise, you can always play ranked matches against random peeps.

Boo for friend codes. I'm thinking about getting this game, just really want to try out the online play and I've always enjoyed the Mario Sports game. I find them to be way more fun than just your typical sports game with the same boring rules. I never played the gamecube one though so I'm sure with on-line play I'll get my ass kicked. Is there are thread already started with some friend codes?

For regular friend codes, yes. However, these friend codes as i explained above will be unique for each game. You will have to register THOSE codes not the regular Wii console codes.

I like the GCN version, but I feel satisfied enough with that that I'm not sure how much I care about getting the Wii version any time soon. Online play is tempting, but I'd rather just use Xbox Live, which has non-sucky online play. No offense to Nintendo, it just seems like they are missing the boat with this generation of online play again.

  9. Well even if I had the money right now, I doubt Id get this. Never got into the first game that much.

get it. i've had it for a couple months now. it's fun. and dont be fooled by the descriptions of online. it may be limited and occasionally a hassle but it certainly doesnt suck.

you'll probably find yourself playing the ranked matches alot just to see yourself on the leaderboards.

overall it is a much better game than the first one.

I am astonished that some of you are actually skeptical about this game.

i was talking to target's nintendo rep yesterday about it (she showed up to make sure we had it on the shelf along with picross DS) and when she asked if i was going to get it (after i mentioned i had a wii) I said i probably couldn't afford it with all the great games coming out this fall/winter. she said it'd be a good game to hold me over until then, but really, metroid's coming out in less than a month. i'm sure it's a great game, but i don't need to spend $50 when i'm going to be leaving for college in 2 weeks.

Big thanks to Ihsiin for the sig!

The game's pretty good.. it's a tad simple though if you're used to Pro Evo and things like that...

Does anybody elses wrist bother them after playing for a while? My wrist is hella soar....Well it doesn't help that I go all out when I play raquetball, but I'm sure that's not what caused my "injury."
