Help On Buying The Xbox 360

almost everywhere we check is sold out of the xbox 360.. i am supposed 2 get one for christmas but it might be too hard 2 find in a normal *Ohio* store. is there some *TRUSTED* site i can order one from..? and if so how long will it take 2 get it? thx.. Travis.

Go to your best Buy RIGHT NOW. People are lining up for one....There's another shipment to Best Buys nationwide on sunday dec 18th.

i actualy cant go 2maro.. well i can but my mom cant and shes the one buying it. my preditction is they will be sold out by the time i get there.. (sometime in the middle of the week)(thursday,friday). so i am basicaly DEPENDING on a **TRUSTED SAFE* online store that can sell me the xbox 360 for the average price.

I don't think I'd bother going to Best Buy even if you could. My local store has people camping out again for tomorrow's shipment, and from all indications, there are at least enough people in line to use up the whole shipment, even though they're limiting them to one per person.

Each best buy store is getting at least 40, to 48, to 80 tops.

More than enough to fill a line.

My store is getting 48 units, I could've gotten the system if EB games WAS Best buy, instead of the other way around...

Because with the cards I have now, and I got a gift of more money....Now I'm up to 270 bucks.

ebay is charging up to $1000.00$ that is outragous... plus i heard of people gettin jipped n mistreated from ebay.. i need like a store kinda shop. or ANOTHER trusted site NOT ebay.. thx tho... (still need help so anyone wanna help like these guys, lol .. thx .. Travis

Well it is definately crappy, but right now it seems as if though every major store will get 40+ Xbox 360 systems every two weeks. Your best bet is to just do your research and call each of these places up every day, or every few days as they will normally tell you when they get their shipments in. Wal-Mart, Bestbuy, Target, and other bigger stores are your best bet right now. It seems as if though stores such as EBGames and Gamestop are going to be stocked very thin until sometime next year.

Rumor has it that Best Buy is going to get another shipment on the 22nd. Get your mother on the trails of this one.

She needs to do it, otherwise you're not getting one this christmas.

This week there should be roughly 500,000 out in the US--this includes all major retailers. If anyone is reading this who needs to get one--here is your chance. Right now if you are talking EB or Gamestop, chances are they will be able to give you a 360 if you didn't preorder as early as this month, as it seems the production of chips may be in full force now. I don't know what the hold up was, but I think it has to do with the fact that it is a complicated machine, the companies creating the chips can't do it much faster, and maybe even the companies wanting to slow it down to fix something in how loud the 360 systems are.

I actually saw a 360 sitting in the case at my local Walmart. It was a Core system, though, so I wasn't interested at all. I went back later that day for something and checked - it was gone.
