Motorstorm Ver. 1.2 Ready in Europe

All European members check it out now and tells us how it is. If you don't believe me go check out three speech. Apparently you have to update to ver. 1.2 then go download somthing of of PSN. Anyway hope you guys enjoy and hopfully it is up on the US store soon.

I dowloaded the PS3 V1.81 and just after the Motorstorm "time attack".
The result is : MOTORSTORM DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE !! I've got a black screen when I launch MS.

Does anyone had this kind of issue ? Does anyone have an idea of how I can have my MS back ??
I was thinking of re-initialize my PS3..

I'd try flicking all that full range, super white stuff on and off. That's what they've changed so that's where it'll break. Before you reformat the drive.

Also try moving your save data to another account, maybe it's reading corrupted save data and crashing.

Did you update to 1.2 BEFORE you downloaded the time attack mode? Because if you didn't, that might be the reason. Time Trial can only be installed AFTER you've already updated to 1.2.

Anyway, don't worry. Just go to Game Data utility and delete the MotorStorm files you find there. You don't have to delete your game save (which is located in Saved Data utility). Boot MotorStorm up, go to online, download the 1.2 update automatically, exit MotorStorm and download Time Trial again. If your screen goes blank anytime, just give it a couple of minutes before you try to restart your PS3.

Sony has to make patching easier anyway, and I just wonder why the 1.2 update couldn't include Time Trial in itself.

I think the Aus/NZ copy is identical to the Euro copy. so the update should work on both.

THANKS a lot VG I tried it and it works perfectly.
Time attack is insane, but the bad thing is that it shows me that I a really poor driver.
I wonder if some players don't cheat : with the same car and boost the the max I can't hardly follow the ghost of the top rider.

Started up motorstorm, went into online, it's updating. No version number though.

My Motorstorm crashes in online so fingers crossed.

European players have had a chance to play with the 1.2 Motorstorm update for nearly a week. Now, North American players can join in on the action. The major addition? A new Time Attack mode. Stability issues have also been addressed, including glitches with boost, SD text cut-off, online performance and surround sound glitches. The update also allows for up to 50 friends in the game's buddy list.

Remember to update the game before downloading the new game mode from the Store. To update the game, simply launch Motorstorm on your PS3 system. You will be prompted to download the update.
