This game looks awesome for the DS. Though alot of the game looks like it was taken almost directly from the xbox version, such as that boss battle.
I like how games now are really pushing the DS's graphics.
that looks pretty good
looks fun. hopefully my tiny brain will be able to comprehend the touch screen controls. just watching it looks like it will be difficult.
this now makes me wish Itagaki would consider Ninja Gaiden for Wii. they are obviously capable of creating a control scheme that takes advantage of the controller features. why not make one taking advantage of the Wii controller.
That video just kept getting better and better as it went on.
So basically all the controls are using the touch screen... I hate using both the stylus and the buttons, my hands aren't big enoughBut that games looks awesome, really using the DS to it full potential.
EDIT: Ok, so after reading more about the game, you play it sideways right... I assume they will make it go both ways as in for left handed people and right handed people?
yes, they will. also, the only button controls are you can press ANY button on the DS to block.
i like the idea of an action game played sideways with touch controls. it's games like these that really back up nintendo's statement that the DS is a "developer's system" giving them free reign to develop any sort of game they want using any combination of its unique features. also, the graphics are pretty amazing. it's hard to tell in that video, but it looks like the environments are probably pre-rendered.
Big thanks to Ihsiin for the sig!

Well you move by touching the place on the screen that you want to go to right? Not by dragging the guy around so my guess is it seems like it would be sorta choppy and not as smooth as if you were controlling the guy itself... I don't know if that makes any sense.. but it does to me haha
