ZSNES / Star Ocean issues..

I was trying to reach the audience that uses ZSNES (all versions).

I have been having issues with it and was wondering if anyone has any insight or anything... is it ZSNES, a bad rom, my computer?

The beginning of Star Ocean freezes after I get to a certain point on it. I was figured maybe something was wrong (as it was a japanese translation so maybe there could be a crash somewhere somehow..) but then..

I was playing "Death and Return Of Superman" and the whole thing froze again. Don't get me wrong, it isn't ZSNES that freezes, but the actual rom.

Anyone?

I've never actually encountered that type of problem, try out a game that you know for sure doesn't suck so that you diagnose the problem.

I haven't been able to get Star Ocean to work with ZSNES either. Thought it has been a long time sinse I've tried.

It could be the rom. But download SNES9x first. See if star ocean will run under that.

I haven't had any problems I don't think.. I'll try it right now. Everything seems like it's resolved already though lol.

Crap... my emulator is on another computer... If I can figure out a problem with ZNES and why it doesn't work I'll come back to this.

ZSNES and SNES9X are really pissing me off tho. I just get a really cheapo compaq laptop.. 500 at best buy.... and it's widescreen. So playing with the screens and stuff are.. fun.

I believe you can letterbox the screen.
