It's always been March for these announcments. I remember just a couple days ago over at B3D people were talking about GTAIV being pushed to '08 because we haven't heard anything recently. It's always March for GTA iirc...

+rep, and yes this day has been fucking crazy

Ok, I honestly don't think I can take any more of this amazing news. Its like all the announcements we've been waiting for, and all in one day. I can't take any more (head explodes)! By the time GDC comes, assuming these rumours are true, when Phil starts talking, the journalists/game developers will probably start finishing his sentences for him.

Phil: And in May we will be releasing...
Crowd: ...a demo of Killzone 2. Tell us something we don't already know.
Phil: Ok, we've got an amazing online...
Crowd: ...social service that allows you to...
Phil: Alright, and what about the...
Crowd: ...yes know about that as well.
    Phil: And the...
    Crowd: ...yes.
Phil: Hmmm. In that case would anyone mind if I ended this early?

Lol. I can't believe Rockstar would choose to show GTA:IV in March when the release date is in October. Don't they usually wait about a month or two before saying anything. Still, if they do I certainly won't be complaining. Lets hope it is a true sequel to GTA:III and not just more of the same but with better graphics.

Agreed. There were so many tweaks to the on foot combat, vehicle controls and all these other neat extras that made it much better than VC.

I wish they can do more with the story as it really meanders in the GTA games.

  15. Another game for fools to argue which version looks better. Huzzah.

It gives spiritual significance to technology developed primarily for entertainment and warfare and gives nerds something to obsess over that isn't the crushing vacuousness of their lives.

The formula was wearing a little thin in my opinion by that stage, I still enjoyed SA, just not as much as III and VC. Having said that, Rockstar is tinkering away as we type, so hopefully we'll see some revolutionary changes.

  19. I never have been a fan of the games. They're good, just not a sandbox game fan. I don't take for granted the weight the title carries though, so I'll have my eyes on this.

I just hope Grand Theft Auto 4 is tremendously graphically upgraded from the PS2 games.
My PLAYSTATION 3 Entertainment System from the MASTER GURU of E-mpire OMEGA has arrived! Thank you so much for this amazing and generous gift!
