I finally am in posession of a US PS2 so I can play one of my Christmas presents, Amplitude (oh, I'm only 3 months or so late...).
I just beat it on Normal between yesterday afternoon and right now. Very, very fun. My own gripe is that the background makes it really hard to see the notes sometimes, but I'm sure that's intentional distraction.
I dont know about amplitude but gratz on the PS2. There are honestly TONS of amazing games out there for real cheap if you're willing to find em. Not to mention the plephoria of PS1 games that also rock so stop reading this and get to playing!
Amplitude's a great game. I used to be really good at it because it was the only game my ex liked to play, so I ended up playing it a lot. I started playing through it again the other day, using the shoulder buttons instead of the square, triangle, and circle buttons I was used to from FreQuency. Makes the game a lot easier.
I wish I could find copies of those games around here, I used to love them![]()
I found a copy at a CVS I worked at and bought it when it hit UBER clearance. Got it for like 3 dollars. I love the game too much. I actually had a crippling addiction to the game in 2005. Seriously would wake up and play it, come home and play it, eat breakfast and play it. Yea..not pretty. Stupid rhythm games.
I'd like to note that I still haven't beaten it on Brutal. I got stuck 2 or 3 songs before the last one.
Edit: Correction. On Insane.
There is nothing absolute in this world. You may sometimes be at a loss knowing that this world is unreasonable.
To break the impasse, you must hold an unshakable belief and insight as well as a certain amount of vitality.
