There's a special kind of nerd though, who thinks computers will overtake mankind in thirty years, changing humanity in ways incomprehensible to us now, ignoring the third of the world without electricity. It gives spiritual significance to technology developed primarily for entertainment and warfare and gives nerds something to obsess over that isn't the crushing vacuousness of their lives.

I've never seen it, though that's probably because I normally keep track of the exclusives for each system and not muti-platform titles.

The lighting looks very good, but besides the awesome music at the end, I got the "RE4 wannabe" vibe too much. Not saying it will be a bad game at all, just saying right now, it looks like I'll wait for RE5 if I want survival horror. Next-gen cost too much to have a collection as large as my PS2's

I didn't pay too much attention back then, but everything in that trailer was so familiar that I had to check it again. Too bad there haven't been news on this game for such a long time now, although I've never been a fan of the series anyway.

I remember reading that half of its content would be included in the disc and the other half would be downloadable, as it was their intention to make it fully episodic. I didn't like that idea at all if it ends up being like that.

In its defense, alone in the dark was out at least 3 years before the first resident evil. so who's aping who????

    Looks good...
I may not risk the $60 bucks unless the game gets amazing reviews, but I will give this a rental.

No problem with that...I'll rephrase...I think RE5 will simply be a better survival horror experience since RE4 just about defined the genre single-handedly

  17. Probably. One thing is clear, Alone In The Dark looks better than anything we've seen on capcoms framework engine.

I am worried about RE5's state for several reasons. this game has nothing to do with it at all.
