But honestly...do you think it could be that bad? That's my question. Batteries...check. Charger...check.

Me and my sister got some rechargeable battery packs for my GBA. Mine only held a charge for an hour or so, hers wouldn't charge up at all. Battery packs? Check. Charger? check. Working? Nope.

    I'll wait for reviews.

Fair enough, but I'd say the technology has advanced enough. If it can hold a charge for 8-10 hours then I'd say it's worth it.

Haven't gone out to any charger-type things yet, but I plan to. I turned rumble off and that's definetley added an extra 3-4 hours of battery life.

Just buy batteries en masse from Costco or something. For 20 bucks you get like, 20 000 batteries. Keep the dead ones in a barrel, and then when you've got enough, have a good old-fashioned battery fire.

Invite the family, roast some hotdogs.

20,000 batteries for 20$, wish I could find deals like that lol, I would start a battery shop in my town. That being said, he is right that if you plan on not getting rechargables, then buying in huge bulk would probably be the way to go.

I got a 36-pack of generic-brand batteries for like $10 at Target. That's lasted me pretty much since the Wii came out, and the box still has quite a few pairs left.
