It wasn't exclusive before, just console exclusive at best.

I didn't even know it was exclusive...

I didn't expect anything less because the success GeoW had on the XBOX 360, they'll milk it till that lasts. Only thing is will it be done in the same time as the PS3/PC version or are they delaying them, just because of it.

Any IGN insider here who can upload the new 720p video off IGN?
It has always been multi-console. They made a tech demo on the PS3 two E3s ago to showcase the Unreal Engine and that was it.
^ Yep I remember that. For the longest time it was only listed on the PS3 platform and no 360 mentioned. There was no doubt this was going to happen but since it did then its good news for Xbox and not-so for the PS3. It would have been nice for the PS3 if they could have had this as an exclusive given that Epic made Gears of War a 360 exclusive but I guess developers like Ubisoft and Epic seem to prefer the 360 a bit more.
From the trailer it appears Epic is more focused on the single player aspect ... or as much as the multiplayer. Which is a good thing IMO. Would guarantee more sales if not anything else.
Oh n btw, the new UTIII logo looks niiceeee!
Well, I thought that it was an exclusive but I just realised that it was never officially confirmed as an exclusive.
Well, hopefully Sonybots can play Xbots online![]()
It's always been a PS3 & PC title. It was running on beta PS3 hardware the first time it was demonstrated at E3 2005. There were PC and PS3 demos after that. It's never been a PS3 exclusive, so the only news here is that it got its title changed and that it's going to 360 as well.

Again, best exclusive secret ever just like Assassin. Sony cant keep exclusives just like secrets. DMC 4 is coming multiplatform just watch.
So the 360 gets Gears of War (yes I know its MS published) and Unreal but the PS3 only gets Unreal?
Strong rumours from a PS3 magazine indicates that DMC4 is going to the 360 as well because Capcom wants to go multiplatform this generation yet the PS3 doesn't get Lost Planet or Dead Rising from the 360. Don't even get me started on Ubisoft....Assasins Creed = Mutliplatform but Splinter Cell 5 = exclusive to 360?
Kinda strange that all these companies are harping on the 'multiplatform' aspect of gaming yet most of their 360 exclusives remain exclusives. Why aren't those going multiplatform?
This really feels like a bad dream (the current state of the PS3)Now that the Unreal rumour is put to rest and if DMC4 goes multiplatform then I wouldn't be surprised if MGS does too.
Oh not to mention Fatal Inertia (yes I know no one cares) going to the 360. But at least the PS3 got Oblivian, an old xbox game (NG: Sigma) and Enchanged Arms. Seems lopsided.
Funny how a title that never was exclusive to PS3 but wasn't on 360 goes fully multiplatform now and everyone gets into the gloomy mood "OMG! PS3 keeps losing exclusives and 360 loses none!" when in the last few weeks PS3 got games that were only on 360 and/or PC and it almost seemed as if nobody cared.

Comes down to $$$ I guess, and Sony wasn't willing to pony up what devs wanted them to. Like Jack Tretton says in the latest Game Informer, Sony earns exclusives, they don't buy them, unlike a certain competing company. Take solace in that fact that MGS4 is NOT going to 360 and Sony's first party blows MS's first party out of the water, and Square-Enix is coming to the fight.... some day![]()
VG,the x360 is cheaper and nobody is gonna be as excited for old games like Oblivion, Splinter Cell, Enchanted Arms as it was a year ago. It's all about now, people will forget MS for the sloppy seconds, the job is done Oblivion sold 1 million. I think PS3 version wont even break half of it. MS has been more proactive since the begining of this gen.
SC: DA has been released very recently and PS3's version will include exclusive extra game content. Yesterday we saw a Kane & Lynch announcement, which is a game that has yet to be released. It's not like PS3 only gets "old" games. What is more, it's very likely we won't see all these crossplatforming happening a year from now as the games that are susceptible to be multiplatform will just be released at the same time and PS3's version won't be a rushed 360 port.
Not in Japan!MS has been more proactive since the begining of this gen.
