Some new "Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire" pics

I think I haven't seen these pictures before. The first pic looks almost cg to me.

mm, cool. I hope that second picture isn't a sign of what kind of draw distance this game will have That mesa in the distance almost looks like it's fogged out or something

  3. Damn, Gundam is just, so not for me I guess.
Anyway, I would to see it in movement.

I really hope this plays well because there needs to be at least one good gundam game on the PS3, come on Bandai, you can do it!!!

  5. The graphics are excellent. The only comparisons are like AC4 and Chromehounds, and this absolutely destroys Chromehounds, haven't seen good enough quality of AC4 yet though so can't compare those two.

Ya, hopefully Bandai can actually make a good game out of Gundam lol!

I heard someone on a TGS podcast saying it had really nice graphics, (not Motorstorm-level, but very pretty graphics anyway) but looked slow as hell (not in framerate, but in gameplay, I believe the word "plodding" was used) kinda like Chromehounds on the 360.

As someone who spent hours and hours really trying to like Chromehounds, but ultimately being bored nearly to death with it's gameplay, this doesn't sound promising to me.

Armored Core looks much more exciting, faster, and better to me, but Armored Core preview videos in the past have always tended to look faster and more exciting than they actually turn out to be too, so I don't have much optimism for giant robots right now. That sucks, because I'd really like a giant robot game that is actually fun to play.

ZOE: 3rd Runner might be our last best hope for the genre, but who knows if it will ever happen?

nice, but could use more pink smoke and orange or blue lasers.

  12. there's no cg in the game, the director said that there's no need for it.

There's a special kind of nerd though, who thinks computers will overtake mankind in thirty years, changing humanity in ways incomprehensible to us now, ignoring the third of the world without electricity. It gives spiritual significance to technology developed primarily for entertainment and warfare and gives nerds something to obsess over that isn't the crushing vacuousness of their lives.

  13. The first pic is CGI? Damn, lol, looks pretty bad for not realtime stuff lol. If any pic I should call CGI on it would be the seventh picture with the trees lol. That first pic is hardly the best in the bunch, the close ups of the building give and ground don't show super amazing textures, but they're far from bad, very good looking for a game that will probably be on pretty massive scale with destroyable buildings.

But ya, the games has nice graphics... but... uhh let's wait for the other elements to be displayed haha.

Holy crap.... destructable and destructeable are both not words according to Firefox 2.0 candidates.... i had no idea haha.

  14. I'm gonna wait on a few reviews before I pick this one up.

Well IMHO the graphics on the mechs, and all are nice because there is absolutley no detail in the environments. Hopefully they jack up the detail before it ships.
