Sorry not sure if I spelled this games title correctly, but you get what I'm getting at.....

Well I was at Circuit City today and I seen it for 19.99 and was like, "wow, that games already a greatest hit?" Well I would've bought that game, but they had Xenosaga Episode 1 for 14.99 (but I got it for 9.99), so I went with that game because I got it for cheaper. Well what I want to know is if that is a good price for that game and is it any good? Same goes for Devil May Cry 2 because that was only 19.99 also. I'll probably buy one of those games next week unless I go with Okami.

Don't get DMC2!! SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE PAIN!! Honestly Bsack DMC2 is the worst thing to come from Capcom. It feels low budget and mediocre!! Get DMC3 Special Edition instead it's $20 too! And SotC (yes you spelt it right) is worth the $20 I on the other hand got it for my birthday last year and it was $40 then so pick it up! I'm buying Okami after I kill the hell out of Mortal Kombat: Armgeddon!

Just go buy Shadow of the Colossus as soon as possible and totally ignore DMC2.

Avoid DMC2. Especially when the infinitely better DMC3:SE is only $19.99 as well.

Gotcha I'll ignore that title then and I'll pick up the other. I bought DQ8 today from Best Buy for $20. =) I'll look into DMC3: SE also to see where I can pick it up at.

SotC is an amazing game. Replayability is lacking, but its worth it just for that first time through. Its one of the greatest gaming experiences ever. I hope they make something like it on the ps3, that would truely be amazing.

SOTC is one of my favorite PS2 games ever. Just the sheer scale of the world will boggle your mind. However, I dont think they should make a sequal to it. That game is more like a once in a life experiance then a continuing story.

^^ Right. That would be smart just like Capcom is doing with Okami. They said that Okami is a one shot deal and no sequel OR PORT (sorry Nintendorks) is planned. They also said it won't work on the DS or Wii because they tried it! IT doesn't feel right for the Wii and it's not just about painting it's mostly adventuring and the DS would either be a 2D side-scroller or an ugly dumbed down 3D adventure.

I ended up buying it a couple of weeks ago, and yeah it's great. Two things that confuse me about the game though:

WTF I can't die? I've played through 6 Colossi and have yet to die.

I played through those 6 colossi in 4 hours. Is there any length to this game whatsoever?

Yes, in the form of hard mode, time attack, and hard time attack.

If that's not your thing then sell the game if you don't think it's worth your money.

I didn't say anything about a sequal. I meant a game like it, where there are specific enemies you ahve to take down in a giant beautiful world. Just something comparable to it. I can't even imagine how great that would have looked on a ps3.

Oh and has anyone else reached the 17th colossus yet? i beat the game twice and found tons of white tailed lizards and i still can't reach the garden

The 17th colossus doesn't exist, but the garden does.

what do i do with lizard tails? Or how do i eat them?

you kill the lizard and press either circle or square over them cant remember. The lizard has to have a white tail though or it wont do anything. their is a white tailed lizard at just about every save structure
