Actually he expressed interest/confusion at E3 in the laser system they use for context animations. He was probably showing his game to them as well.
Yeah he is in it for the tech and I believe a lot of developers pay a visit to each other to learn of techs they use and so on. There is even GDC where they show each other the tech in presentations. Kojima is a high profile figure so it gets more interest when he does it.
ND is on top of the tech game so anything Kojima can take back to Japan from ND is great.....Though the generation is nearly overthey should apply to future projects.
Thinking at the most basic level, sneaking behind an enemy in MGS and the "laser system" kicking in when you are holding him up so if you are near a corner and you hold someone up, Snake drags them around the corner or if you hold someone near a doorway Snake drags them in and shuts the door or if you are near a hallway Snake pushes them against it etc etc. You won't lose control, it's just Snake animates to give you the coolest enemy holding position depending on context.
Anywho. I am just jamming with it now, but yeah this turns out to be quite exciting hopefully.
That's a hardcore trophy list for the most part. But those gamers are probably the ones that are going to care about that anyway.

That list isn't complete. There are hidden trophies too

Columbia Pictures making MGS Movie:
http://gamingeverything.com/27928/is...its-own-movie/Update 2: Now confirmed. Avi Arad is producing. Arad said: “For many years I fought to bring comics to theaters – and video games are the comics of today”. He also noted how “We will take our time and tell the story with all the nuances, ideology, cautionary tales needed.”
Update: One important note here: “movie” appears to be mentioned at the top of the photo.
Is there going to be a Metal Gear Solid movie from Hollywood? Slap a big old “maybe” on this rumor for now.
Just ahead of the Metal Gear Solid 25th anniversary event – which should be starting very shortly – an image has appeared showing what appears to be a collaboration between Konami, Kojima Productions, and Columbia Pictures. Notice that the photo above does indeed feature the Columbia logo.
Assuming this is real, we should be hearing about the partnership very soon. Again, the Metal Gear 25th anniversary event will be taking place in Japan shortly.
I have two threads about it, posting all the MG 25th anniversity stuff here:
