    PS3 itself is pre-rendered. Kuturagi is pre-rendered. have you seen his animation? it isn't possible in real time! that may go for Kojima as well, but I'm not sure. he's facial animations weren't impressive. current gen at best.

    I believe this guy is just confusing in game rendered movies and CG.
    He is just using the term CG incorrectly, but we all agree with the point regarding seeing game footage...

    you know what is great about the wallpapers? they use in-game models, and still look great.

    I love the ocelot wallpaper. If you look closely on him you can see the shader effect on his jacket that gives it a slick leathery appearance, looks awesome. Liquid Ocelot looks really badass, I love it lol.

    Kojima did say that it will be playable "at E3 2007 at the latest". That doesn't confirm nor rule TGS out.

    Usually MGS games are shown in playable form very close to release date...
    I think E3 would be more appropriate since the game is scheduled to release around this time next year...

    Well TGS is 10 months prior to when it's supposed to released (7/7/07), remember that MGS2 was first playable at Konami Gamers Day in December '00 which was 11 months prior to its release date. But that doesn't mean the same thing will happen this time

    MGS2 had that demo with ZOE too so we knew they had that done pretty soon to get it knocked out I think. MGS3 wasn't playable until E3 2004, which was only about 6 months before its release though. It could really go either way but I'm super excited to see how this game will be playing. Yay, 100 pages!
