Mario beats Madden and Saints Row

Best Buy has been releasing weekly sales figures for the past several months and this week, Mario jumps back to number one knocking off recent numbers Madden and Saints Row. The DS took 5 of the top 10 slots.

Thats crazy how it continues to dominate the sales. I'm really impressed. Its not even the Christmas season yet.

Good luck finding maddens though . All the gamestops and ebs only have the ce versions of the game at 60$ (or 70$ for the 360) which turns out to be almost double the price of mario and don't sell because people want it for 50$

I can see it beating Saints row but Madden it has to be a real good game to beat Madden in sales.

well remember madden is on all systems except cube i think .

So really we don't know how many ps2 owenrs picked up a copy on the other 2 systems .

But still great numbers , it was a fucking awsome game . (saint row kinda sucked though)

Of course it's all subjective but it apepars the average person disagrees with you both in review score and sales.

New Super Mario Bros. is a new game, so how is it classic? Mario is a classic character, but his new addition to the series was an instant classic and dominates in every aspect of the gaming market. Can you say the same about those games you listed? Those games don't see nearly as well as New Super Mario Bros.

Even though I did hear from a friend that he liked Saints Row. I've never played it, but I have played New Super Mario Bros and it's a great title.
