Nintendo sites attacking Wii ?

What has the world come to ? I don't remember anyone attacking the GC went it was released.... Just look at the crazy crap a Nintendo site posted on the Wii... It's as if they are being ran by Sony/Xbox fans.... And all this, was posted THIS WEEK.

In this one they say the the Wii is cost $250 EUROS, not dollars. That would mean that it would cost around $400 in u.s...

This isn't all that bad, but it says that Wii wont get online til '07. That's around 2/4 months on no online.

This is the WORST one of them all... Why would a Nintendo site post this interview ? What were they thinking ? Did they want to make fun of the Sony Prez ? Anyway... Here the Sony president says "The Wii with be going up against PS2 (< no typo, playstation two)". He goes on to say he left down the Wii graphics are and people will buy the others, to experience ture next gen. Is this a business move ? To take the spot light away from Wii ? Even if so, why would a Nintendo site post it ?

This is the second worst one... 3 companies prodicted Wii will come in 3rd place. Then came these idiots predicting that the "Wii will sell 11 million"... He lowered it down to Dreamcast numbers. If E3 2006 is any indecation of what's to come... I'd guess Wii will out sell the GC.

Analyst Predicts PS3 Victory, Wii Distant Third
The latest analyst to make a next-generation prediction is the Yankee Group, and it thinks Sony's PlayStation 3 will win. The Boston research company's prediction narrows that lead, but not for Wii. The group predicts a 44 percent market share for PS3, followed by Microsoft's Xbox 360 at 40 percent. The group leaves the final 16 percent for Wii.
Sony's PlayStation 2 controls approximately 70 percent of the current-generation market, with GameCube and Xbox evenly splitting the final 30 percent. The prediction is based on the belief that Microsoft will lower the 360's price next year, pressuring Sony to do the same with its US\$600 console.
While the three current consoles combined for sales of roughly 140 million systems worldwide, the Yankee Group puts next-generation sales numbers at less than half that amount through 2011. Despite maintaining the same market share, the analysts put total Wii sales at 11 million units, about 10 million units less than GameCube.

Getting back to my main question... Why do nintendo sites post this CRAP ? Even IGN posted the "no online game until 2007". Wii is better than the GC, yet these guys treat it as if Nintendo (re-)released the N64, with no features. I rarely see articals talking about the Wii's feature. I see posts about the upcoming events and games... but that it's. Everything else is bad news. Are Nintendo sites trying to destory Nintendo ?

those stories were posted because they're news. the only reson they're not on nnow id because all the news writers are busy/lazy/n vacation over the summer. all three of them have been posted on these forums already.
