PS3 Available In Two Colors Soon After Launch In EU >

The Playstation 3 will be launching with one color in Europe, flat black. Soon after that though, according to Hartware.de, both white and silver consoles will be avilable. I would not pass up the opportunity to get a unit at launch based on color, though

I like the PS3 as it is. Silver PS2 looked good but with the PS3 design, I can't imagine it looking better with other colours.

black is a slimming color, and considering how large the ps3 got in the redesign, it wouldn't hurt to go on a diet

I actually saw the white PS3 again in an old, outdated June (printed in may) issue of EGM magazine I recived last week. I was surprised that it looked so good to me after so long not seeing it.

  10. I don't give a crap what color I get as long as it runs.

There's a special kind of nerd though, who thinks computers will overtake mankind in thirty years, changing humanity in ways incomprehensible to us now, ignoring the third of the world without electricity. It gives spiritual significance to technology developed primarily for entertainment and warfare and gives nerds something to obsess over that isn't the crushing vacuousness of their lives.

hmmm..... flat black? so does that mean we won't be seeing the glossy piano-black console from all of the shows? doesn't really matter that much, i don't look at the console while im playing games, but the gloss one does look quite nice....problems with fingerprints however means that a flat colour would make more sense.

  12. I hope they bring those colors to the US. If the white one is available I'll get that one just so all my next gen systems match. My current gen systems are black so my next gen will be white. Unless Nintendo releases the Wii in black. Then my 360 can just be the odd one out.
