    Red Steel Trailer

    http://media.wii.ign.com/media/821/821973/vids_1.html

Its looking mighty impressive. The graphics have definatly improved from when we first saw it. That guy I guess looks a bit silly, but he kind of pulls it off. If they were to show this one TV (which I doubt since its a bit too long for a TV ad) then it would have to get people interested in the Wii.

Btw, its the video on the bottom left. Dont bother with the top left one, its pretty much the same thing but all in game (no guy) and its being filmed off screen.

    What do you think?

  2. I Wonder How Long This Game Has Been In Development?

  3. It looks awesome, can't wait to get it!

My only question is this, is the game reasonably open? I watched the latest trailer with the latest jerkoff of a teenager demonstrating the game. At the end of the video he's holding the wii-mote (sword) as if to swing the sword down and kill the gang member, but he forgoes this course of action in the end it appears.

Now, will it be possible to make choices of whether to kill/murder of be a good guy and do the right thing? That would make this game 50% better if it allows choices like that.
I love you, I hate you. Will you marry me? I just want to kill you.

  5. I wanna see some more levels, I'm tired of seeing the same old casino level again and again.

The more enemies you save, the easier the final showdown will be. Or at least that's how I understand it.

^I hadnt heard about the final showdown thing... But apparently if you choose not to kill someone they might help you by giving you a better weapon or following you for a bit or showing you a better way to go.

So at ShadowVoa, yes, you can choose to be good or bad...or at least ignore their "spare me" crap.

Looking pretty good, I just hope there's enough options to change the scroll rate of the screen. It seems to take a fair bit of movement to sort of "push it around".

  9. Yeah, generally what the premise is is similar to Majora's Mask in a way.

If you spare your enemies lives they may choose to help you in some way, which is like going through all of the side quests and getting all of the items and masks.

In the end, in the final showdown, if you have the support of all of the other Yakuza members it'll be just like getting the Fierce Deity Mask.

So potentially you could go through the game again, kill everyone and make the end battle a very tough one XD

they've been designing it since TGS05. working with the Remote since April 06 (1month before E3). not sure if that was when they got final dev kits also.

Thanks Koten and cube_128, that's exactly the sort of news I wanted to hear. THis game just earned itself a preorder for itself, which brings the total of Wii games to three. Its a real shame I want Rayman 4 as well but I think my cash will be all spent by then
