Thread: Leipzig Games Convention news imminent

  1. Well what about that invitation that some people recieved? Theres still some hope with that right? Thats why I'm thinking Nintendo is going to release the information then and then release the Wii in October as an awesome move. Although I agree completely that this conference blew ass.

The problem is the public demonstration of the Wii, or lack thereof. PS3 will have 27 titles playable at TGS. That's huge. Wii will have one title at TGS and we don't even know if it's playable or not. Leipzig was THE chance to get mass public demonstration along with mass media coverage.

I expected to cry of joy after GC, but find myself crying of dissapointment instead. Why do they have to keep the release date secret for so long... *sigh*

They probably didn't want another E3 on their hands.

I can't figure out what is going on, Nintendo didn't show much (which everyone thougt they would have a blow-out), and Sony doesn't seem to be doing anything.......To the 360 forum I go, maybe MS did something......

People seemed to be really excited and subsiquently disappointed by this.

I didn't even realize something was supposed to be going on till just now.

I wasn't expecting much from Sony (whom I care more about), but I am suprised Nintendo didn't show off much, this is the last major conferance (with the exception of TGS, which they do little if any at) before Wii's launch, maybe they felt they couldn't top E3 and plan on riding that through.

I found a link that says it has a HQ Nintendo Conference Video. It's a german website so if the video is English dubbed or not is still unclear. I'm downloading it and the full size is 222.75MB. Took me a while before I got connected so keep trying.

I recommend 'right click save as'.
