I played both the PS3 and Wii at E3 06 and what it all comes down to is: Do you want to play BRAND NEW games or do you want to play current games? As the industry has learned over the year with PSP/DS gamers want fun, not the most advanced graphics. That's why the Wii is going to do extremely well.

Of course then you also do have the fact that just like the DS, the Wii will open up gaming to every age. My dad who can't play games with currrent controllers was able to play the Wii just fine.

The best part other than graphics for the PS3 was that the controller was so light! Of course missing the rumble pack is inexcusable. It's like going back to the stone age.

Bottom line is that this video represents the facts.

you need to define which console has the brand new and which one has current.

i could read it as Wii having the current games because it can easily get ports from GC/Xbox/PS2 generation.

but then i could read it as PS3's controller means we are playing current gen games with jazzed up graphics while Wii games are new because the controlling will be new.

so which did u mean?

just had to get it in before any easily angered people reply.

In the end I definitely want both. There is no better way enjoying gaming than getting them all.
