Rumor:MGS1 Remake to come to ps2

God I hope this rumor is true, i'm nearly done MGS 2 and i'm loving it. I love the extras in Substance but the only problem is that they say a lot of stuff about MGS1, sure I should go buy mgs1 for the psone but the graphics are shit. I really hope this rumor is true, anyone got info on it?

Who cares about the graphics? Seriously, MGS had pretty good graphics, some of the best for it's time. It shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Yeah good point but there might be extras i'll go for another week and if theres no word on this rumor i'll be taking a trip to EB games for a gamecube... i've caved in.

There's no need to pay $150 bucks for a GCN and MGS:TS. Just get the original. It's like 13 bucks.

Geez...the original is already considered one of the best games of all time, the graphics and slight extras aren't worth 100 and something dollars.

I have 300 to burn and that was for HDD and a bunch of other games coming out. And the fact that there are a lot of GCN games that everyone is raving about here so I might as well pick it up.

MGS for the psx was great the graphics doesnt bother me that much but the gamecube version looks a lot cooler though. But twin snakes is made by silcon knights though.

Thats you my friend, I used to think that PS1's graphs were the ultimate and they were so smooth but as soon as PS2, DreamCast, etc came out it looked like shit and I dont understand whats going happining on the screen.

TTS CAN'T come to PS2, and if it's the story your after, then the remake is worth it, it has 3 hours of cut scenes, while original has only 90 minutes.

i dont think it would come to PS2. Just get a gamecube. Not only can you get MGS, but also Eternal Darkness, the Resident Evil series, and all the other great games out on it. It is worth the purchase.
