    Killer 7 goes to PS2

    http://www.capcom.co.jp/killer7/main/e_news.html

Capcom Producer, Hiroyuki Kobayashi today revealed new details on Killer7. Already scheduled to release for the NintendoTM GameCube, the game will now be released for the Sony PlayStation(R) 2.

Killer7 is a stylized, post-modern hard-boiled action-adventure game featuring visual artistry and dark imagery with striking cel-shaded graphics. Killer7 chronicles the connection between two men whose intertwined paths develop into a compelling tale of revenge and altering personas. Killer7 propels players into the consciousness of one man, Harman Smith and his seven different personalities. The player’s challenge is to stop a wave of indiscriminate violence that is plaguing the world.

Killer7 for the NintendoTM GameCube is scheduled to be released in winter 2004 for Japan and North American markets and sometime early in 2005 for the European markets. Although, Killer7 for the PlayStation(R) 2 is scheduled to be released in both North America and Japan, details on the release date has not been confirmed.

They were full of bullshit to begin with. Capcom has been very good to Nintendo and Nintendo has done little in return to give them confidence that they can sell othe thir party titles. I think that Capcoms just covering its bases. I want to know why PN 03 sucked so bad. That game was as lame as whale shit.

i can't say that i was surprised by the announcement, it was sort of coming. Although i am a big N fan, nintendo does deserve every single peace of it. It only concentrates on its 1st and 2nd party games (S.K) nothing more. thats why 3rd party exclusives are awful, i will bet that MG:Twin Snakes will not sell well. That is why nintendo indicated that with its next console it will fix all of the problems it had in the N64 and GC in the past 10 years, which will most probably not happen because it didn't really fix that much since the N64. excet created good ties with other companies but got bad games for the GG. For N5 the big N has to do something or else doomsday will be upon nintendo and nintendo will stop creating consoles but will concentrate on handhelds instead.

  7. Fuck fuck fuck. They better keep building it from the ground-up for the GCN and then port it over Splinter Cell-style.

I wonder if those grainy pics we saw a while back were the PS2 version?

MGS: TS is being developed by SK so in essence it is a 2nd party game. 3RD party exclusives being awful are the developers laziness, who wants to buy bad games (PS2 owners)? If they made the game great to start with people might buy it.
The current US government is the type of government the founding fathers fought against and warned us about.

America, the Dr. will free you now.

I think it should've stayed exclusive but I think it would be dumb not to buy just because of the move (if it's good that is).

    Add Me!

  14. Well its being made for the GCN and then being ported to Ps2 (or I hope so ... damnit Square, if its the other way around I will cry).

  16. Oh yea ... I was reading that FFCC review while making that post, whoops.
