Some new Stuff about Medal of honor: Airborne

Here's some interesting new stuff about MOH: Airborne.
There is a new screenshot of a soldier and it looks Real close to the soldiers in the video shown at E3: http://www.ea.com/moh/airborne/airdrops.jsp?id=1
What you’re looking at to the right is a technical shot of Travers provided by character modeler Eoin Colgan. This is a shot to showcase the level of detail you can expect from the characters in MoHA.
There is also one or two screenshots and Concept arts I've not seen before: http://www.ea.com/moh/airborne/theat...ia=screenshots
    Enjoy

What you’re looking at to the right is a technical shot of Travers provided by character modeler Eoin Colgan. This is a shot to showcase the level of detail you can expect from the characters in MoHA. This shot is made from game assets – it’s game geometry and game-resolution textures. It’s also about as clean as a character shot gets – no blooms, no environment effects, no hiding in shadows, and no fake environment pasted in behind him.
I'd still need to see some gameplay, but...

Looks good, except for those boots. He needs new boots... or better yet, rocket boots!
Anyway, everything is looking pretty. I would love to see it in actual gameplay with all of the effects, action and background stuff going on.

Do not feed your Wii chicken after midnight, nor get it wet. Doing so will cause a bad 80s plot to unveil itself, and a cuter, fuzzier Wii will have to kill it.

His feet look pretty squeezed... I couldn't get my feet into those boots, that's for sure! Other than that, it looks okey, though <i'd like to have a higher-res shot before I judge.

Its my understanding that there is no higher res. to the shot, it is being displayed in its native res.

But just for a character model it looks very impressive, although "Give me gameplay or give me death!!!!!!!".

It's just me and my m4d screen res... Even what you'd call high-res becomes small...

I think it will look ok when you got 50 of those guys running around and blasting away at some nazis

  10. That screenshot looks really great, I'm really looking forward to an MOH title to take back the reigns like MOH: Allied Assault did for me on the PS2.

But what if those are gameplay stills? This being next-gen technology, I would expect CGI stills to be superior to this - especially the boots and rope. Plus, similiar games titles are already matching this quality.

okay, this pic showes one of the things I hate and wish for next-gen to solve: brightness, brightness, brightness. why does that model look like it came from a Disney movie? isn't this supposed to be a gritty WW2 hell game? if they made the textures darker, it would havelooked much better. I don't know if it uses shaders, but it could fool me.

There's a special kind of nerd though, who thinks computers will overtake mankind in thirty years, changing humanity in ways incomprehensible to us now, ignoring the third of the world without electricity. It gives spiritual significance to technology developed primarily for entertainment and warfare and gives nerds something to obsess over that isn't the crushing vacuousness of their lives.

  19. why mock Kratos...why...death awaits you...

j/k, but yeah, I think this model looks great, I can see that in-game no problem.

A guy holding a Thompson sub-machine gun doesn't exactly scream "kiddy" Z...(I know old post)

Anyways, MoH: Airborne still looks absolutely stunning. Those pics look like screens from the E3 trailer Yoshaw.
