-any non-Nintendo character must have appeared on a Nintendo platform before, with the tentative number of such additions being one or two, excluding Metal Gear Solid's Snake
Understandable. We can't have so many characters that it isn't Nintendo's characters duking it out although EHRgeiz comes to mind.
-According to Sakurai, due to Super Smash Bros.'s worldwide popularity, he does not want the Wii iteration to feature game characters only popular in Japan
If only Retro had some of those characters already. I don't want crap ones. I see Sonic and Viewtiful Joe as the best possibilities. They're non-mature and come from e-rated games. Next up I see Prince of Persia, some Eternal Darkness character, and some Soul Caliber character.
-On the topic of gameplay, the Brawl director noted the team is tweaking each character's moveset to allow "more freedom" in aerial combat
That opens up the possiblitu for actually fighting in air like Dragon Ball Z.
-Sakurai said, "This time, we'd like to stress easiness over the small details of combat, so overall it might become somewhat easier."
I thought it was easy enough. Who didn't think it was easy to pick up as opposed to Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Street Fighter, SNK, DOA, etc? I just hope they do something about the cheapness of such moves.
-Concerning Brawl's online functionality, Sakurai stated that no online ranking system would be implemented, though the recording of a win-loss record wasn't ruled out.
Acceptable. Eventually there will be the best that is just unbeatable.
Happy 666 day! Now only 1000 more years till the next one. Mark it on your calendars.
