I have, and I am making quite a buisness of it. I by broken ones on ebay, fix them, and sell them for sometimes triple what i bought them for! I am about to with one with all cords and a controller for 30 bucks! I can (And Will) Fix it, and then sell it on Ebay again, for like 120!! That is almost 100 bucks profit!

Usually you can send them to Sony and they'll fix it...

If you get mad enough at their customer service reps they'll pay for everything, including shipping. Microsoft charges $90, but usually you can get them fixed for free. If I were to buy one off of eBay for $40 or whatever, I'd want to send it to Sony for them to fix it so that I could keep it.
Well, I could fix it and keep it if i wanted to, but i already have one.
