Has anyone here ever fixed a "Disc Read Error" on the PS2?

I have, and I am making quite a buisness of it. I by broken ones on ebay, fix them, and sell them for sometimes triple what i bought them for! I am about to with one with all cords and a controller for 30 bucks! I can (And Will) Fix it, and then sell it on Ebay again, for like 120!! That is almost 100 bucks profit!

But you can't make a profit that way.

Sony probably charges 150 dollars to fix it not including shipping just like Microshaft does.

Me thinks that they charge 100 + Shipping. I can fix it for free! Just send me your ps2's!

  11. If you get mad enough at their customer service reps they'll pay for everything, including shipping. Microsoft charges $90, but usually you can get them fixed for free. If I were to buy one off of eBay for $40 or whatever, I'd want to send it to Sony for them to fix it so that I could keep it.
