I finished ''New Super Mario Bros.'' yesterday.

Very short and simple. It has the old school feel which keeps it from being a flop.

It's too easy but I'm loving every moment of it. Too bad it lacks the awesome powerups from the old games like Yoshi and the Hammer Bros. Suit. Oh well, the Blue Shell is still pretty sweet.

It was about as difficult as previous 2D Mario titles. I'm glad Yoshi didn't ruin it because even though I liked him when he first appeared in Super Mario World I got sick of him over the years. Besides, the game was styled after the original NES games, which took place in the Mushroom Kingdom complete with no Yoshis. I wouldn't mind a few more powerups, though, like a return of the raccoon tail or, as you mentioned, the hammer bros. suit.

I bought it and I was never really hyped for it, but it seems like it will be a lot of fun.

  10. Any replay value?

I'm sure there is, but I still have yet to open my game. Playing too many other titles currently.

There is some, particularly with the multiplayer and with the hidden levels and the two side worlds in the single-player. It'll keep you occupied for some time.

Ouch. Well, at least I hope you liked my review, for what it's worth.
"A-I-D-A. Attention, Interest, Decision, Action. Attention - Do I have your attention? Interest - Are you interested? I know you are, because it's fuck or walk. You close or you hit the bricks.
