GTA: Vice City Stories for PSP in October 2006

    Vice City Stories for PSP(News)

Rockstar has announced Vice City Stories, a new instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series exclusive to the PSP, which will be available in the UK on October 20th.

The new game is set in the familiar locale of Vice City, but it won't be a rehash of any previous games in the series - nope, Rockstar is promising "an entirely new game with a new storyline, new missions and gameplay."

It's being developed by the same team that created Liberty City Stories, and is set to feature professional voice talent, a "diverse" soundtrack and all the hallmarks of the GTA franchise we've come to expect. According to Rockstar, this one's going to "thrill long-time fans and excite new PSP system gamers like never before."

Sadly, that's all the information there is to be had at the moment. Still, it's good news all the same and, of course, we'll bring you more on this one as soon as we can.

Just predictable. I'm afraid it won't have the same impact LCS had (first 3D portable GTA).

I found the official site. It was easy.

Too much Grand Theft Auto! Rockstar should do something original.

Its coming out waaay too quickly.

All the GTA games are too close together to have that specialness.
They need to leav it for a very good long while. No info or anything.

well, GTA4 is for next gen. and the portable ones are new and are on new systems.

Rockstar did say a while back that they released GTA LC when GTA3 was selling 100k units a week. they called it a 'double punch'.

I do agree that on the same platform, they should be made apart enough for them to developme new ideas and for gamers to want them more and finally, for the current version to sell all it can. but since the GTA series is a hallmark and is selling like mad, they couldn't be happier.

It will be interesting to see the difference in quality between the PSP version of GTA and whatever comes out for the PS3. Personally, I think the difference is going to be huge and maybe finally Rockstar will be going for realism in the PS3 version.

However, I think they could keep on making PSP versions and make a profit doing so.
My PLAYSTATION 3 Entertainment System from the MASTER GURU of E-mpire OMEGA has arrived! Thank you so much for this amazing and generous gift!
