    New SCi Games Revealed
As well as big, big profit numbers.

December 08, 2003 - With the outright purchase of Pivotal Games, it was always a given that further iterations in the successful Conflict series of games would be coming, but today, in SCi's end of year financial report, it was revealed that the next game would not be set in Iraq, but instead Vietnam. Also revealed in the financial report was that a further Conflict title is in development, and is known only as Conflict 4 at this time.

Additionally, the document refers to an unannounced game called Midway that could be released in either 2004, or 2005.
Financially, SCi has recorded their most successful year yet. Ending September 30th, turnover had increased 61% year on year, to £25.8 million. Pre-tax profit meanwhile, was 40% up on the expected £3.5 million. The underlining factor behind this success was the aforementioned Conflict games, of which 3 million copies have been shipped since the release of Conflict: Desert Storm. According to the financial release, over two million copies of the original game have been shipped, while 1.2 million copies of the sequel have also been shipped.

Less excitingly, over half a million copies of The Great Escape have been shipped since its August release.

Never ask a man if he is from Texas. If he is, he will let you know. If he isnt, there is no point in embarassing him.
