Actors being unrecognizable? Shows how much you are a fan of the series. Other than Miguel, Christie's skin color, and Kazuya's goatie, I fail to see the complaints. And how the hell do you know they will be fighting in a ring the whole movie?

Meh whatever, if you guys don't want to watch the movie cause it doesn't have good "acting" then by all means don't, I don't care. But don't come around pretending to be enlightened judges ordaining what can be considered good or bad by everyone.

Kazuya/Christie/Miguel was in the trailer?? Well now I know which one Kazuya's supposed to be watching it back, but it's not by his look. But unless Christie changed races I have no clue which girl she's supposed to be or that she was even in the trailer. And I have no clue if they'll be fighting in a ring the whole movie...but considering they were fighting in a ring the whole trailers gives me the impression they will.

I'll admit. The guy (who I imagine is) playing Paul (@ :56 in the trailer) is perfect casting. Except I would at least give him a Howie Long Buzz cut to have his hair somewhat resemble his videogame counter parts but that's just me being picky lol.

lol seriously. They did a much better job of getting the look and feel of the game then the actual movie. I guess I shouldn't be suprised when a fan makes a movie as opposed to a hollywood exec.

lol that's funny. The (possible) extra is better casting as a character that's not in the movie then the actual actors.

THe fan-made trailer looks muuuuch better than the official one. I really only care for the fights. In the fan-made one, they had great cosplayers with smooth fighting moves.

I just don't know why with such a limited budgets, as game-movie tend to have, won't they just focus on the IP and the existing fanfare rather than trying to appeal to a non-existent movie fan-base?

Also, this would have been ten times better if they would have made a CG movie. It doesn't even have to be on the level of quality as the games' ones, just good enough- I'll take RE: Degenerations movie like quality if they had good fights and FX. Heck, you don't have to say a single line int he whole thing and I would still love it.

You know, the actual reason why I loved Tekken since the beginning were for those awesome, emotional, state-of-the-art CGs, Man, Namco sure knows how to make fantastic trailrs with perfectly tailored music to them with a lot of stuff going on visually and emotionally without saying a single word. I still have Tekken two opening burned to my memory.
