Does anyone have it, or has anyone played it? I was wondering if its worth getting just for the single player?
If you havn't heard of it, you drive cars around doing cool jumps.
you can also make your own levels.
It looks somewhat corny.
I've never heard of it.
True says the leaf,
yeh, I never really liked Rush 2049. However, the one before it (i think) San Fransisco Rush was awsome. All I used to do was drive around and do jumps. Oh wait... i think there were 3 rush games on 64. One of them was mainly based on jumps. It was awsome. So yeh... I think this could be a bit of fun, especially the making your own levels, and you can 'paint' your own car. You can also download levels that people have made. And I think there is a demo and i think ive played it.. t'was coolOriginally Posted by IEatFriedPikmin
A game like this had better let us make our own courses. It looks like something that's practically made for that. Actually, looking at that screenshot, that course looks like some user did just assemble a bunch of pre-made track sections together.Originally Posted by thecube_128
Back in the olden days, making one's own tracks was fun, like with the classic Exitebike or an RC game for the SNES whose name presently eludes me. I'm not sure that I'd enjoy it anymore, though, unless it was a lot more sophisticated.
i got this game today. if you see it for cheap like i did, i recommend you buy it straight away. otherwise, buy it straight away anyway. the graphics are awsome. ive taken heaps of screen shots, cause you just press F10. yay. ill put em here later.
if you can find the demo, its shit compared to the real thing. (from memory)
Hmm. I was looking it up on GameRankings to see how it did, and Sunrise seems to have done better than the previous TrackMania, coming in with a fairly good average score. I browsed IGN's review, and they gave it 8.0 overall, which isn't bad, and readers averaged even better at 8.8. Some images, like the one below, don't make the game look quite so bland. I might keep an eye out for a cheap copy, just for the track editor.

yeh, the screenshots really dont do the game justice. especially if you have a powerful computer and can play it at full graphics with the motion blur. The whole thing looks like one awsome FMV. And I was really looking forward to the track editor aswell, but i havnt even bothered looking for it yet cause the mission things are so awsome.
plus you control the whole thing with the arrow keys. ^=accelerate, < and > is turning, and v is brake. this makes it a real sit back and relax kinda game, but your driving really fast...so yeh... plus this is really the only bad thing about the game so far, its sort of hard to make minor adjustments, but it hasnt been that big of a problem yet. just one of those small anoyances?
This game is very beautiful and very very fun! yet I don't own Sunrise so how the hell would i know....
well there is also a little game call Trackmania nations which uses the same engine but is FREE, 100% kick ass FREE GAME from Nadeo as well.

This game also was built with the help of Nvidia and thus looks better on a Gefoce card.
people were asking for a demo this is like 100X better a nice full version game
For some reason there are no nice looking trackmania pics yet this game is very very beautiful :sigh: try it any way its kick ass and you'll be doing loop the loops and 200yard jumps through hoops in no time.
