Compared with the E3 vid. Looked like shit. Nothing looked like the E3 vids. This he said definitively. Also, they didn't show long gameplay vids, just short clips. But the difference in quality was really glaring.

Actually, no. It was realtime, just decent models and a prescripted event. With that being said, it still doesn't mean "realtime on PS3 hardware" (which didn't exist in complete form at the time). That goes for both the sky scenes and for the ground troop scenes. Atleast for the ground scenes you were looking at 15,000 to 20,000 poly models with normals maps. The sky scenes are basically easily doable now if we instance all the planes.

Wasn't Warhawk's TGS 2005 video realtime? I'd even say it was gameplay. And it didn't look bad at all considering it still was early in development.

I think it's hillarious how you all just assume because some guy says something it has to be the truth, for all you know this guy could have been employed by Microsoft! On top of that, Warhawk didn't look that impressive to begin with, I've seen PC games that looked better, aside from the number of planes on screen at once. So, as far as I'm concerned, this guy is full of shit.

This may lead to the backlash that Sony should of been expecting. I sincerely hope this isnt true, but if it is then it directly the fault of Sony's misleading marketing. It is quite possible that these ungodly trailers we have been viewing for months in no way represent gameplay.

This of course could be untrue (how come anytime we run across bad news in this forum its because of some MS spy, thats rather unrealistic), however until further information it cannot be discredited, it does follow other articles and comments we have heard regarding the games on the PS3.

Ahhh if only E3 were here already , I really need to see some MGS4: Guns of the Patriots real-time gameplay... hell I'll settle with some more movies. Im almost at the point of having withdrawls here!!!
